He's the leader of the defense. it would decimate the team to trade him. Won't happen.

Ya, that was brought up alot around here, i had the same argument about his ability to play 90% of downs, set an edge and cover at a B-B+ level was worth not cutting back on his snaps for pressure. Idk if I was right, but the use him less crowd were right it helped his pass rush production.

Watching a bit of the Patriots this season it seems Vrabel is letting Landry just pin his ears back a bit more off the EDGE and not worry about his run responsibilities as much as he did for a large portion of his tenure at Titans.
-
What do you all thinm we would getfor jeff? Seriously? The cowboys got 2 late firsts and an old ass NT comong off a terrible season. We wouldn't get that much for jeff, so what is the consensus bottom line around here? Be it reasonable or not.

Ya,i was a prettybig defender of his as well, pointing to his ability to do a bit of everything makes up for the fact he was mostly just a finisher in the pass rush game. No1 hits on every move, this missed on this one, live with it. He was seemingly on the down turn, was going to need new money soon, didnt fit the type of edge they wanted. Lots of reasons to move on.

On the flip side, the guys who they might draft with those draft picks are likely to still be here and in their prime 4 years from now when the Titans hopefully will be contending

Seems to be the flavor of the day and every day is ground hog day recently

I was Landry's biggest supporter here but his pass rush win rate last season was atrocious there was no way they were keeping him the way he was playing at the end of last year. If people want to be critical of the move be critical of their choice of replacement for Landry.

It's always dumb to thin the roster out unnecessarily. Losing Landry was unnecessary.

These are the kind of vice grip hands the Titans need.

Remember that time the guy remembered a thing correctly? Yeah that happens a trillion times every day.. Good thing we don't have to rely on Ben Jones. We have the tape and tweets and game announcers and Derrick Mason and other players all remembering. But if you hate truth....

Week 6 Titans vs Raiders Discussion

Im sure they will, i was just saying they have options on how to attack us. -
Doesn't fit the definition of genocide. Genocide - The deliberate and systematic destruction of a group of people because of their ethnicity, nationality, religion, or race. (Cited: https://www.britannica.com/topic/genocide) Israel has been going after the soldiers who were hiding behind residential buildings and civilians. Furthermore, Hamas' invasion on October 7th, 2023 was an unwarranted act of aggression by a group of people you would consider the victim of genocide. Furthermore, Israel is (stupidly) swapping over a 250 terrorist prisoners along with 1,700 Gazan civilians for the 47 hostages from October 7th. Not sure which number of them are dead or alive. At the end of the day, both you and I are not on the ground fighting these wars nor are we acquainted with those who are coordinating them. All we see are reports from biased sources and both of us probably don't know in depth the type of war crimes that are being committed and who is targeting whom and for what purpose. The best thing we can hope for is an end to the catastrophe and hope that the peace deals hold.

Run at Crosby. He will over shoot his gap

I am very rarely shocked by Trumps corruption or stupidity…but this is really hard to believe. Just shocking this is actually happening.

Crosby tends to spend most time over the RT and with Latham coming off a hip injury the Raiders would be wise to test him out. -

Another thing to watch is punt coverage with both first choice gunners in Marcus Harris and Bryce Oliver out. -

The good news for latham is zeitler is rounding back into form and moore is enough of a liability that they may just put max on him. -

A rusty heavy footed Latham with a hip injury one on one against Crosby certainly isn't a great matchup for the Titans especially with Latham's susceptibility to an inside move. -

Week 6 Titans vs Raiders Discussion

The Titans would be wise to use a lot more 6 OL packages for Max Crosby. Without a true inline blocking TE they could use it. -
Nearly all of the cap savings they had from cutting Landry was blown on Jones and his ridiculous 4% pressure rate. the FO absolutely does deserve to be criticized for spending the same amount of money as they would have by keeping Landry getting far worse results.
