No idea what you are talking about pullng the goalie at the start of the 3rd, lol. Thats not accurate. over the past 5 years more coaches are pulling the goalie with 3-4 mins left rather than 1 min left in the 3rd due to analytics.

Cam has played like ass. He shows glimpses of what can be but his mistakes were worse than Levis and so was his ball security. Both things I warned pre draft would happen with him too. I like his make up though. He is not frazzled and the shit show around him but TN needs to unleash him fully and get it all on tape.

Think Dan Campbell. When he came in he changed that culture in Detroit right away before they were good.

I feel the same way. In some ways the offense has looked a lot better since he took over. But thankfully he’s coaching just as conservatively as Callahan and exposing himself as not HC quality. I assume guy like McVay, Reid, and Campbell just laugh at these anti analytically minded coaches. They have such an advantage by just not being afraid. Reminds me of the analytic argument for pulling the goalkeeer in hockey. Coaches never do it when they’re down until the last few minutes when the analytics say you should do it at the beginning of the third period if you’re down more than 2. We should have a similar approach with 4th and shorts when we are outmatched by another team’s talent.

We have people so against even trying out 1 wr theybare claiming teams dont even need practice squads, that they dont ever elevate players to try them out, that our coaching staff knows better than anyone who on the team is good.... I was listening to Texans radio on the way to work this morning, and they were talking about what they need to add by the trade deadline to make a playoff push. They stammered around for a couple minutes and then all agreed they are completely loaded at all positions and don't need anything. I saw the SF game yesterday, and I think they're right. It's tearing me up inside how much talent they have across the board, while we have basically none whatsoever. I can't understand it.

I don't think they would trade that far down. They know they can't afford to and judging how bad some of these other teams are and how desperate they may be for a QB they won't have to. Honestly, it looks like it could be a reboot ofclast yesr's draft scenario with the Jets taking the place of the Giants. The difference being we'll already have our QB and Borgonzi will be able to get more of his ideal edge rusher in Bain.

They aren't really anything to worry about. Outside being near their nest, or having small pets or kids near said water. Mostly they just lumber around till someone calls, then they drag their ass back to the everglades or whatever nearby swamp and tag them. Then they are on the 3 strike rule till they get turned into fried gator.

They are both EDGE players though. You can have edge rushers who are 250 and some who are 280. It's just about preference. If we went to a more traditional 4-3 base, we would have both guys starting at DE.
