kyle021
Think about it Elite QB, OL and RB stud WR and elite TE Stout front 7 and solid secondary with a ball hawking FS and solid CBs and elite return men how are we not contenders?

Probably because our Elite QB hasn't played a full 16 game season yet, The Stud WR hasn't played a single NFL Snap yet and didn't do any of the offseason workouts because of ankle surgery, and one of the Solid corners/the elite return man also hasn't played an NFL snap yet. Can we let the season start and actually see how these new pieces work out before complaining that we aren't being crowned as contenders?? Especially when they haven't made the playoffs in almost a decade. Respect isn't given it's earned. Sheesh. Oiler FANatic
Still quite a ways to go for that, so maybe the best team since 2008 and then they can work up to 2000-2003.
Somedude
Hopefully better because I don't want our RB to fumble the game away in the playoffs or have a 1-4 start with the QB hurting the last half of the season and done in the playoffs.
OILERMAN
This team is still mostly potential. titanruss, smokeater, and gatordude731

Kirkster
In terms of quality of roster, it is every bit as good as the 03 team. Maybe even more talented.

scine09
Kyle I think you need to hold off a little on these threads about how great the Titans are. There's certainly potential there but you're asking for a huge letdown. Btowner, and wiscotitansfan

Our defense had an argument as being better than the Ravens D that year, and in some statistics/metrics, is listed as better. If Eddie George doesn't bobble a pass in to Ray Lewis' hands, feel there's a good chance we win that divisional playoff game and go on to win the superbowl. Also we don't have an elite QB, don't have an elite RB, might have an elite o-line but that's dependent on them remaining consistent. I hate how easily that word is thrown around. Mariota isn't Brady or Rodgers, Murray isn't Bell, and our o-line hasn't shown the consistency of the Cowboys o-line yet.
