In fairness even though they massively overpaid AT it’s a bit early to sound such a loud alarm, he & Flott have been good corners. They didn’t get bad overnight though Flott was cooked. As you know the draft is about looking forward and plugging future holes, both Taylor's and Flott's contracts have very easy outs after two seasons giving Borgonzi time to draft and develop his own homegrown guys. AussieTitanFan08 Posted August 16 Author Report Share Posted August 16 In his presser today Saleh said he expects Jacob Martin (knee issue), Nick Singleton (general soreness) and Tony Pollard (who is dealing with foot soreness) to return to practice on Monday. Not mentioned in his presser today that Franklin-Myers partially returned to practice today but left pretty early and didn't participate in team periods. They'll be fine. Taylor will get broken multiple times over the season, but he'll be someone constantly in the mix making plays on the ball and in the run game. Flott reminds me a good bit of Kristian Fulton, who when properly used in off-coverage was a good DB. Those two as the starters are better than we've had in a long time now. DBs routinely get killed in 7v7 and in preseason games because the def isnt running their pressure packages, arent fully staffed, arent game planning, or going 100%. The overreaction here is embarassing. Close to TOMB/Gotitans levels of stupidity.
