Sure, Vrabel may have given her some scoops and she may have printed some stuff to keep her source but it would be difficult to say it’s any different than any other GM or HC who has a preferred media mouthpiece (heh). Painting Vrabel as a victim instead of a grown ass man who can make his own decisions and Russini as some evil succubus is kinda wild. This is why to me it doesn't seem like people are trying to protect Rusinni; they're trying to protect themselves and the sooner this all goes away the better. Also, I'm skeptical that there is no legal risk to reporting on this story for media outlets because they're certainly not behaving like this is safe. Florio has been pulling the leash back on Simms explicitly for legal reasons and at least one reporter has already been fired by their media outlet for being to aggressive in her opinions.
