Your math was off, and now you're trying to backtrack to make it make sense. If you want to argue that Ayo can't get there, fine, go argue with yourself, but my original premise that if he turns one drop per game into a reception, it will put him in a different category is 100% spot on. He didnt even drop 17 passes to turn into catches. Im not back tracking anything. I tried explaining to you why your seemingly simple turn around didnt work. And then i clarified my position to someone else.

Bongo59
I think it is fine. That is how you develop players. let them play. Keeping them off the field is plain wrong. When they play you know what you have and then you can move on from mistakes quick. This team has moved away from guys they should not have. The mistakes get highlighted but the people that go elesewhere do well reflects on the staff that was here. prometheus, and DCTitan

So until the draft and the FA period after it's probably better to reserve judgement on his plan. I agree I'd like to have seen more from the offensive side of the ball in FA as he's only marginally upgraded the WRs and TE/IOL could just as likely be worse considering we've lost our starting C, RG, TE and a contributing WR. Yeah, of course. I'm not saying they won't add. Hell, I think it's likely that they do. I would.

I think they're very pleased with what they got out of 2 rookie 4th round picks. But that doesn't mean they are under the illusion that they're going to develop into starting caliber receivers. You don't draft a receiver in the 4th round expecting them to be starters. If it happens it's a bonus. And in spite of the fact that Dike excelled returning kicks neither one of them really flashed anything as a receiver that would have changed anyone's mind about their potential to develop into starters. oldschool, Callidus, Justafan, and 1 other

That's fair. Both those guys barely cracked the top 10 in terms of production from their rookie class (including TEs). My only point is that with all the talk of draft and develop, and given the turmoil from last year and transition, we don't really know how big of a priority they see it. It could be #1 for all we know.

Tajae Sharpe had good most productive season as a rookie. And as we all remember, Robinson went ham the next offseason acquiring receivers. If we were to judge by recent history, some more idiots are about to get their asses beat in an alley on draft night next month. Justafan
