I still think someone will want to trade up to #4. Most likely a team like the Chiefs wanting Jeremiyah Love. Hypothetically if we moved back with the Chiefs we could still do something like this…

Chris Johnson was not great on the first day of the Senior Bowl needs a serious bounce back over the next couple of days otherwise there will be some big questions about whether his pre Senior Bowl hype was based purely on facing lower competition.

I do agree with edge over wr but if they want to trade back edge becomes more precarious and wr is much more likely.

The only scenario we take WR with our first pick is if we

A. trade for or sign an Impact Edge

B. We trade back

That's it, but we would have to trade back pretty deep because their is not a top ten WR pick.

If anyone is like me and needs to read up on the offense variants, I found this article informative.

Who currently runs some form of Erhardt  Perkins? Patriots, Bears, and who else?

Daboll runs a variant of the EP which is why I was reading up on the topic to begin with.

Agree that it would probably be wise to have a true back up plan.

Anyone specifically you are thinking about? Not sure he would be up for a different kind of role, but getting Frank Smith in a AHC/OL role could make sense as OC of future.

Some younger guys to keep an eye on;

Bears QB Coach J.T. Barrett
Saints QB Coach Scott Tolzien
Panthers Asst. QB coach/pass game specialist Mike Bercovici

Chiefs pass game coordinator Joe Bleymaier

Former Jets OC Tanner Engstrand

Cowboys passing game specialist Ken Dorsey

49ers WR coach Leonard Hankerson

Packers senior assistant Luke Getsy

Chiefs QB coach David Girardi

Patriots QB coach Ashton Grant

Giants assistant QB coach Chad Hall

Colts passing game coordinator Alex Tanney

Ravens director of football strategy/assistant QB coach Daniel Stern

Ole Miss OC/QB coach Charlie Weis Jr.

Indiana co-OC/QB coach Chandler Whitmer

Sacramento State HC Brennan Marion
LSU co-OC/WR coach Cortez Hankton

South Florida HC Brian Hartline

Texas State HC GJ Kinne

Mick Lombardi, Mike Groh, Scott Turner, Jerry Schuplinski seem like strong options that run similar offenses.

You might be underestimating the possibility of going with someone like Peter Woods in a trade back. They said they want to "build the trenches". And who knows what the deal is with Sweat?

It's early, but they don't have to take a receiver early. They can wait until day 2 or possibly even day 3 to get a guy. There will be guys there.

Actually the next step in The Titan Cycle™ is her firing Borganzi mid 2026 or if he's lucky mid 2027.

Once Borganzi starts gambling and the risks pay off (Jeff Simmons), he may enjoy sniffing his own farts enough to step out of line and trade away a key player for no damn reason.  If he's that much of a dumb ass, then the Titans are cursed.

That's crazy that we had no experience at the top of the coaching staff with Callahan. Another big red flag that went under our nose

Those with rose-tinted glasses may have looked at Poppa Callahan's HC days and hoped that would translate.

obviously in hindsight Callahan wasn't ready or capable of leading the team while being the primary OFF designer and play caller. If he was the hiring of Holz wouldn't have been a big deal. I 100% many of us glossed over the Off staff he put togther because he brought his dad along and we know how that turned out. One of the biggest disappointments on a staff hire I can remember in a long time.

Wasn't the resident OL guru a big supported of bringing on Papa Callahan?

Who wasn’t? Had no way of knowing Brian was so incompetent that he made one of the most respected offensive line coaches of all time look bad. I fully believe he’s gonna look back to form in Atlanta

Well, I'm a homer but nobody is better than Munch, and it seemed like blasphemy when people said Bill was the best.  I got behind the hire because I trusted people like yourself who seem to know more about OL play, but I think I'll just do more of my own research moving forward and just live/die with that.

Everyone was. Every OL expert known to man was. He was legitimately considered one of the best OL coaches to ever do it. Not so much anymore.......at least in my eyes.
