No idea where this nugget fits so thought it might worth starting a thread for all Titans non HC offseason discussion.   This was meant to happen last offseason but Sweat never showed up so

Who will we draft? The answer has been there the whole time.

And I'd argue that Ayo separates better. Fields looks the part in his highlights, but his numbers don't match the highlights.

Fields has a really high contested rate %, from what I've seen.

Denzel Boston ranked in the 77th percentile in terms of separation per PFF.  He should be the WR we target if we're looking for a bigger possession WR.

You really think Dike is above Ridley on the depth chart in the event we keep Ridley?

Im asssuning you mean % of his targets that are contested?

If so 33% of his targets were contested.

18% for lemon

23% tate

11.8 boston

15.7% cooper

17.5% lance

14% bell

This is pretty nuts.  6'4 210 lbs, 77th percentile separation per target, makes some of the best catches you'll see, and is athletic enough to return punts for TDs.

Boston is good at everything except beating zone and rac.

Which shows how mhch trouble he has in getting separation. And the fact he can't even complete half of those just says stay away.

Yup. My only concern for tate was his contested rate was over 20% but that looks like chump change next to fields.

Some of it you can explain away with large number of deep shots on a limited target share, not that much though.

I think it's probably a mistake to take what Borgo says too literally. Watch what they do, not what they say.

Having a massively improved defense is the definition of how to take the pressure off Cam.  It’s the absolute first and most important thing you do to take the pressure off a young qb.  The DL is the most important part of the defense, hence what Borgo is doing now.

If we're going strictly by what they've done then I will be thoroughly shocked if they don't go at least 7 out of 9 on offense in the draft. Lol I mean damn...
