No idea where this nugget fits so thought it might worth starting a thread for all Titans non HC offseason discussion.   This was meant to happen last offseason but Sweat never showed up so

Who will we draft? The answer has been there the whole time.

That’s a lot of hooch

Don't think its particularly likely and just throwing this one out there as a thought exercise but what if Borgonzi signed Jermaine Eluemunor to play RG (where he has started in the NFL before) for the next couple of years and be added insurance at OT.

Eluemunor has already followed Bricillo from the Raiders to the Giants and was really solid for them this year at RT.

Sweat is worth a lot.  He has proven his worth in his time in the league and he is still has two yrs of rookie deal.  Saleh has never had a zero tech like him.  I think Sweat's presence will be a bigger deal for the LBers Saleh puts behind them.  Gray was great because of 98 and 93 in front of him.

I think williams as a LB is a scheme fit for Saleh where he was not for Wilson.

I was actually thinking about this yesterday as well but I was thinking he would be the perfect swing OT to step up if Moore and Latham flail in the new offense and/or get injured. With the cap space, that might be something worth investing in.

What does Sweat fetch back in a trade? A 4th? Maybe a 3rd?

He’s kind of in a weird place. Saleh doesn’t care about size clogging up running lanes, he wants guys who can be aggressive. Sweat might be worth keeping to see if they can use him in the new D or they can just trade him by draft day to a team who wants a true NT

If they trade him, I’m guessing he’s worth a 4th.

Seems more likely he’d want to get paid like an OT than follow Bricillo to shift inside to G

Sweat can rush the passer as well.  I have high hopes for him in Saleh's scheme

Sweat may never develop into a top tier pass rusher in terms of closing on the actual sack but I think he can be one of the top tier pass "disrupters"  always hurrying things up and collapsing/cutting the pocket in half.  That's on top of being a great run defender.  Hopefully big Jeff and the boys (and most importantly himself) can keep consistently motivated.

From what I saw, Jeff told him the off-season workout regiment was mandatory lol.
