BTiger3733
Freeze on a live stream last night reiterated that he's very confident the Titans strongly prefer Love over Styles titanskick8851, and airmcnair22
OILERMAN
Sonny Styles is a hybrid safety like Quinten Lake or Kyle Hamilton in a MLB body, 6-4+ and 244lbs. He has freakish arm length and huge hands. He had an elite RAS score for safety, WR or CB, forget LB. He had a higher vertical jump that Metcalf and Clavin Johnson. His explosion measurables were better than Julio Jones. His play recognition, instincts and physicality are also elite. He's not just an athlete. He has high football intelligence, he's not just a combine star. He can take on OL at the point of attack and defend the power runs. Yea, MLBs typically don't get drafted in the top 5. Simply calling Styles a MLB is a total downplay of what he offers to the defense. The match up ability he offers is unmatched. titanskick8851, Bongo59, and Omar 2

While it might not be worth getting a RB that high, barring injury I see Love being a top RB in the league. Reese and Styles, not so sure. Problem is you can’t really bar injury for a RB…
Justafan
Not seeing it with Styles. He’s a MLB. He didn’t have crazy production in college, still developing his instincts in the box…top 5? What is the plan then on offense so we can stop being absolutely putrid on that side of the ball? Maybe hire an offensive aoch.nope.. too late there. How about signing a top offensive fa.. nope.. nevermind there. At some point- they have to address the offense more than 4th round picks. It is kind of fun to watch all of the Love homers cry. Will be satisfying if they don’t go Love even though I still think there is a good chance he’s the pick….
Bongo59
I have zero issues if he is the pick. It makes the D elite.

I asked you a question to begin to lay out the case because I know you need things broken down in the most intricate details possible and you won’t answer it. Any argument I lay out I already know is a waste of time as I said earlier. But it’s fine we can move on. This thread is about the draft and ultimately in regards to the 4th pick we’re not even that far off from what we want them to do. You just had to pick a fight with me on one aspect of what I said. Btw the 49ers gave up 21.3ppg with Warner last year, 23 ppg with Bethune and that is skewed by a bad game against the Bears where the 49ers gave up 38. You can get impact MLBs much later, same with RBs. Its the same argument This where was he taken argument seems silly. Where was Brady taken… where was Henry taken…

TerryBoats
With those measurables, Styles being poor as a pass rusher is a huge red flag. I don't think he's got the physicality of an elite ILB. Which would be fine if he made plays, but he doesn't. There are other off ball LBs who I like more. japan

headhunter
What worries menwith Styles is he played on a stacked defense. But more importantly he's not a big intimidating hitter. Like he gets dragged wrapping up despite his size. I don't think he has much upper strength after making the switch from Safety. He has more safety strength than LB Kcroy420, and DCTitan
Popular Post TeamRamrod
As much as I’ve defended Styles as a prospect and think it’s not as bad of an investment as most people here over running back, I still don’t really believe the Titans would take him at 4 lol Not over Love or the pass rushers. Still hoping they get a trade down Edited Wednesday at 12:20 PM by TeamRamrod titanskick8851, KogaShuko, TheChosenTitan, and 3 others
