You dont do it because trading up costs a premium. Especially into the top 5. You can get that deal without 66.  May cost you 101 or something else but you can do it if they really want someone.

Nonsense. If that's the deal you take 100/100 times. You don't say no because you think you can get more unless you know that for a fact. If the other team doesnt budge you take the deal.

Love immediately makes you a more explosive team. He's going to add 10-20 TDs a year through the run and pass game. He's going to upgrade your pass protection. He's going to force teams to account for

The Jaguars gave up what again for Travis Hunter? This notion we should take less capital is kind of mind boggling. If a team wants to move then they need to pay the full price.

Its to big of a drop to not get a haul. Two firsts is fine, but giving up the wnd pick in the 3rd round is way to much to make it happen if they are being stingy.

No day two picks are on the table to make that happen imo

You want to pay sticker price for the car, go ahead.

I'll take 12 20 and 35 over 4 35 and 66 if I cant get a premium position like edge or lt at 4. Like I said Tate is good but not really worth 4. The strength of this draft is 10-70.

I feel like people are forgetting that Warner was a 3rd round pick.

Not only that, but why do you even bring in a guy like Saleh if he can't coach up talent on the defense? The offense is bereft of talent. Our best play maker right now is a 5'8 slot.

It's a terrible trade. They better send a player or 2027 picks if we are giving back 66.

If thats what you would do then fine, im looking for more to pass on tate or whatever edge the cowboys are trading up for (assuming they really like them).

Only because you overvalue #4 when both Edges are gone and there really is no premium talent left at valuable positions.

I would agree if the top 10 were stacked, its not.

If they insisted on 66, I’d counter with an ask for their 2027 2nd.

The Browns gave up basically 2,700 value points, including the 6th round pick which is basically negligable on the JJ value chart. They got back from the Jags around 3,300 value points. 600 points in value Just for moving 3 spots down.

But we're suppose to just go even Stevens and give up 10 more points of value for the privilege of moving completely out of range of the elite tier of players in this draft? Fuck the hell of that.

I don’t really think we can expect overpays like that.  We might have to take less and I don’t think they will do that , not significantly anyway.

I mean if the value is close to equal and they can get 12 and 20 or anything close like that from another team (include 2027 high picks ), then they pull the trigger.

This is all assuming that Reese/Bailey aren’t there at 4.
