They got back from the Jags around 3,300 value points. 600 points in value Just for moving 3 spots down. But we're suppose to just go even Stevens and give up 10 more points of value for the privilege of moving completely out of range of the elite tier of players in this draft? Fuck the hell of that. I don’t really think we can expect overpays like that. We might have to take less and I don’t think they will do that , not significantly anyway. I mean if the value is close to equal and they can get 12 and 20 or anything close like that from another team (include 2027 high picks ), then they pull the trigger. This is all assuming that Reese/Bailey aren’t there at 4.

I would agree if the top 10 were stacked, its not. It isn't that I even disagree. At 12 and 20 you could potentially Bain and Cooper Jr. Or Cooper Jr and Malakie Lawrence. It's the precedent and is simply a bad trade. If they want to part with a player or 2027 currency then that's different. A pure pick swap for the #4 pick in the draft is hogwash. I might be ok with them giving up a day 3 pick if Dallas insists but 66 is a non starter unless they add in something equal to it. That pick could yield a starter for us. But if we're going strictly value for value in comparison to the Browns/Jags trade the Cowboys could offer every pick they have in this draft and they'd still only be halfway there to the same value the Browns got. The only way to make a trade where the Titans give up 66 worth it for the Titans is a future high pick. And I think someone said the Cowboys aren't even allowed to trade a 1st from next year anyway yet. Idk the rule for that though.

It signals they have made their decision between Reese and Bailey. Important to point out the Jets had already met Bailey twice during the pre-draft process. japan
