Starkiller Posted January 4 Report Share Posted January 4 (edited) In the long run this injury probably is largely meaningless. He won’t miss a single game and the game today didn’t matter to us. If this had happened to a playoff team it’s brutal, but we didn’t need to worry about that… In the short run, Ward likely misses out on a valuable chance to do work on his mechanics. I have no idea what kind of physical work he will be able to do this offseason other than just rehab. He may be spending his days in a VR headset, which is at least something, but it’s going to be chalked up as a loss in terms of his development timetable. Next year he would have been better served with a offseason QB developmental regimen. But 5 years from now I don’t think this will affect how good he is.
