Mendoza is way further ahead as a prospect than Ward, Stroud, and Maye were coming out. He is as clean as they come.

If the Titans were picking today and Ward and Mendoza were both sitting at our pick it would be a no brainer. It's Mendoza all day, and i love Ward and was hanging the drum for us to drafthim in October last year.

Spoken like a true 49er fan.

Cam Ward is at the Miami vs Ole Miss game was joking around with some other former Miami teammates and most importantly didn't have a sling on that injured right shoulder.

Average?

Bailey/Bain > Arvell Reese

I’ve mentioned before, I live in GA. I fully

expected a week of Bulldog fans I work with talking shit about playing Miami. Truth is, they wouldn’t have survived that game against our front and our DB’s.

This game against Ole Miss will be fun. And Lane Kiffin is a fucking retard for giving up on a team with a national title chance to go chase it at another school

The way Ole Miss acted once it was clear that he was leaving actually shows why he decided to go to LSU. Ole Miss was acting like this was a once in a lifetime opportunity-- LSU doesnt have that mentality

I’m hoping for Miami to handle business against Ole Miss and then I want Indiana. Just to watch Mario wipe the smug smirk off Cignetti’s face.

Dan Lanning is so much more likable lol

What's crazy is that every single remaining coach in the playoffs is a Saban disciple

Kiffin is an asshole for sure but he didn't create this mess, Ole Miss's AD did. There isn't a coach in college football that wouldn't have left ole Miss for LSU for $90M

Draft is very much about upside. Mendoza operates and runs that system extremely well. But hes not prolific. He executes, limits mistakes, makes plays at the end of games, but largely that team wins on physicality of the line play on both sides and great defense. Indiana is also probably the most physically mature, experienced and oldest roster in CFB. I think i saw somewhere that the average of age of their starters is over 22 years old. That's unprecedented.

Mendoza is not going to excite a lot of scouts, but hes a high floor legitimate 1st round QB. Youre overextending on him a bit.

Lol so in short he does everything a great QB does?

Mendoza is way ahead of Ward as a prospect. It's not close

Hes not and its okay. And im trying my best to not knock Mendoza here. I think hes a legitimate 1st round QB, but hes not prospect youre trying to make him out to be. Hes great within structure and is genrally a good decision maker specifically pre-snap, but he has some questions about his pocket presence (hes going to be below average athletically in the NFL) and while hes good at diagnosing downfield he can be late getting the ball out whether that be reaction time or arm strength. Pressure effects every QB, but Mendoza can be downright bad with constant pressure as he struggles ti adjust when the first read is unavailable and pressure is in his face.

I think the Goff comparison is perfect or even Tyler Shough. Put him in a structurally sound system and he's going to excel. Hes the greatest ceiling raiser however, and I cant imagine him flaming out. For a team that is desperate for decent QB play, you take him with no questions asked. A

Mendoza is such a weak QB prospect compared to those other guys.

I won't be surprised if we see a bunch of lesser known QB's declare for the draft because they know they can win draft position at the combine.
