Albert Breer has a few nuggets here about the HC search and some of the analytical studies the team is already undertaking about varying success rates of second time HC and coordinators with more than

It is becoming really annoying how some people are using bad result as an excuse to paint the last HC hiring process as a sham. Facts are Callahan was an in demand candidate during that hiring cycle e

Callahan was a great "candidate" and a terrible head coach.

I get that.  But Robert Saleh?  They can do better than that.  Can't they?

Retreads are retreads for a reason. some like Saleh are going to garner more interest because they didn't have a QB.

Green Bay has a bigger issue at QB than it does at HC.

100% agreed.  I never got the fascination with Love.  Two years ago he was annointed as one of the top young QBs in the game based on like a five or six game showing.  He made that awful throw in the SF playoff game and since then he's been mediocre.

It’s Stillman so obviously giant block of salt but he does say one interesting thing and that is “from my understanding”, Amy deferred to Robinson who wanted Vrabel but LaFleur is the guy she wanted. Don’t think I’ve ever heard that before. I kind of doubt she forced him on them as an OC but interesting if true.

(None of this matters because GB is not going to fire LaFleur)

One of the major complaints has been that Dart has had more planned qb runs than any qb in the league.. and 4 concussion checks, not necessarily protocols..so Kafka will have to adapt .. BTW, Nagy and Kafka would be so .. well I guess our team is Kafkaesque already, and maybe we are trying to get away from it..

Ed Policy is the new president(2025 July)  of the Packers, and he’s apparently the one behind the Micah Parsons trade.. Clearly he has decided the Packers are going to be more aggressive in chasing a Super Bowl.. LaFleur has just 1 year left on his contract, so this situation bares watching..

I think Lafleur would mesh perfectly and aligns priorities and timeline as desired (Brinker-Borgonzi-Lafleur-Ward). The front office to QB link would be well connected with no outside agendas.

Lafleur probably brings his QB coach Sean Mannion (who has not been impressive in his first year in GB) and maybe even Bobby Slowick. If McDaniel gets let go then I think he would join his buddy to help rehabilitate his reputation
