  1. 1. Who would you pick to replace him?

    • Jesse Minter, current Chargers DC
    • Joe Brady, current Bills OC
    • Kliff Kingsbury, current Commanders OC
    • Promote Dennard Wilson
    • Some up and coming college coach
    • Other NFL coach

Hopefully Callahan turns it around soon and it doesn’t come to that.

We fucked up when we hired Vrabel as HC over Lafleur. Imagine how different things would have been if we didnt make that mistake.

Someone that knows the general rules

I’m not at all. What are you basing this on besides the one time he was wrong about the titans not taking Mariota?

my buddy who is a Broncos fan and his history of posting shit on twitter about team's moves like Mariota.

I’ll take your word for it. I’ve just been following him for years and seen him

be right about a lot of shit.

If we hit that average of 20% more wins for the rest of the season we still win only 2-3 games so we shouldnt have to much to worry about draft position wise.

lol-  bc of law of averages. If a new coach came in today, obviously we would see an improvement. We're going to see an improvement if we don't change too.  Bc there is only one way to go from 0-4.      The real question is- was it meaningful, strategic improvement or was it cosmetic.  I have no doubt if they change coaches, the team would "improve" at some point in the year.

I also believe -- the purpose of this year is development and progression. Any new coach who comes in will know that is lip service-  wins matter over development.   And maybe.. no matter what ppl say-  that is true.

My biggest problem with his post is that last point.  "You might learn something."  That's a horrible, horrible way for an org to make a strategic decision.  This isn't a start up where you just try shit and see what happens.

My only request is that any move is strategic and not reactionary.   IF-  they are looking at film and talking to players and looking at decisions and then they look around and say they can get "that guy" who would be a wise strategic long term hire... then go for it.

But IF they look  at those things and say.. really the guy doesn't have the groceries OR they say teh results suck but we can see how Cam is developing OR they look and say... we can't get our long term guy right now.. then wait.   Make your decision at the end of the season based on the the same criteria.

These decisions need to be thought out with a long term plan in mind.  They do not need to be emotional, reactionary decisions against metrics that are not currently achievable.

I honestly-  as I do in most things in life these days- care more about how things are done than the decision that is actually made.  Do it the right way.
