I believe Cam Ward will be a top level franchise/elite QB

That Browns 2025 Draft was such a wild ride it looked like they had done the right thing and resisting the urge of taking a QB in the 2nd round after accumulating assets for 2026 and then weirdly go out and draft Gabriel and Sanders.

They were worried Flacco wouldn’t tank them effectively enough 😂

I don't follow college much and don't pay attention to the prospects until close to the draft.    Early on I fell in line with the talk of it being a terrible draft class for QBs. Terrible y

The Giants offered a haul and the Titans quit even listening. The NFL decision makers know.   I also think it's pretty funny it actually took a few miracles for the Titans to fall into the #

Mahomes played at Texas Tech. Allen played at Wyoming. Level of competition isn't as important as traits that translate to the pro game.

Awesome.  Compton comes off  as a meathead in this.

I think Delanie was right too in the way the position runs happened as well.

Lewan is a douche bag but he's reasonable intelligent when not roided up.  Will Compton is borderline on the spectrum and undoubtedly shops at Walmart!

Well they didn’t draft anyone they won’t be willing to kick to the curb in order to draft a top QB next year

Honestly, I know that most of us are retarded, but together, our retard strength is multiplied by collective intelligence. This is the first time that I can remember where the board isn’t divided.

My expectations are high. Not for year 1 but definitely looking to contend year 2+. I also wouldn’t be surprised if the Titans made the playoffs year 1. Interested to see how Vegas feels

This is a monumental moment for the board. The riggers of our battles have come to an end. Peace has been achieved. Hopefully this will be more than a small footnote; more along the lines of an age.

Team's do not throw INTs at that rate anymore. He's not breaking that record

There is a hilariously small chance he tosses like 48tds and 29 ints. Or something similar.

Its not going to happen but there could still be some wild scenario where his upside is enough to not bench him even tossing ints at that clip.

I agree with the second part .  But he isn’t going to be throwing close to 29 INTS.  Modern NFL they just go to the run game if the qb is a turnover machine .  They don’t want to kill the young qbs confidence and they want to still win the game (if possible)

You can go to patsfans any day now.  It’s clear once Vrabel got fired you stopped being a fan of this team.

Was this douche ever?

I have full confidence in Ward's decision making if he's in structure,  If you break down where he has room for improvement, it's the buy time and make a reckless throw decisions like the Cal pick six.  Have to believe the coaches and he will do their best to eliminate those types of cardinal sins.

Not completely sold on how high his ceiling is but he's far better equipped IMO to succeed than VY, Locker, and Mariota were and he's years ahead of development from where McNair was entering the NFL.

You were skeptical the whole time. To me it comes down to his strengths are innate and his weaknesses are fixable with coaching. You can't teach what Daniels and Ward have. Montana had it too. a cool and calm nervous system.

Now I'm not saying he's a lock to be a stud or anything but he's closer to what Daniels was as a prospect last year than many realize.

I'm still skeptical of the ceiling.  The accuracy/mechanics and some of the decision making are red flags.  They are fixable though and he definitely has some poise in the pocket/ice in the veins stuff that's encouraging.

In terms of comparing to Daniels, Daniels is a lot more freakishly athletic - prototypical size and 4.3 speed makes his dual threat ability something Ward doesnt really have.  Of course this isn't a deal breaker as I want pass first guys anyway.

I say he's comparable to what Caleb Williams is and ideally better than that.  In looking at 2024, I'd also say I'd take Ward over Maye, who I think is being overrated by the national media based on what he showed last year,  Caleb gets way more heat and had a better year.
