He might as well be a bonus draft pick, so I’m giving him his own thread   https://www.nfldraftbuzz.com/Player/Xavier-Restrepo-WR-Miami

Brain: He's a UDFA. It's worth a shot and costs basically nothing. Probably never does anything and likely doesn't even make the 53.   HEART: STEAL OF CENTURY. WARD AND RESTREPO CANTON BOUND

I mean, I love to mock Restepslow as much as the next guy, but he performed better than most on here expected.

He's an undrafted rookie FA -- he has no advantage over some of the other guys, yet he did manage to get open multiple times. That's not nothing. He actually won deep on that missed TD pass. An earlier pass over the DB and it's a TD.

No one was crying.  The point has always been that he hadn't earned playing time, which is earned not given. Today he got called up, because he was literally the last man standing due to injuries

There are 4 WRs on the PS. There are plenty of other “last men standing” beyond Restrepo.

What is kinda sad is that Restrepo is one of the few Titans to show they know how to high point the ball.  He didn’t make the catch, but he played the ball perfectly.  It was a really good throw by Ward more than anything.

I thought the same thing at the time. Ballsy throw to go high with Restrepo 1v1.. and it could have easily worked because he had positioning.

Restrepo played solid today against a very very good defense. He found space and proved he can get open in the League. He showed chemistry with Cam but also showed he's a rookie.

There was some difficult catches that would have been nice if he pulled one in. There was also a play where it looked like a miscommunication with Cam.. maybe that was the 'missed targeting' play.

You have no idea what goes on in practices. The only logical reason was he doesnt play st. The problem with that logic has been kinsey has been dogshit on st as well.

Add in the fact how bad our wr room has been and how bad the team is in general, any sane person would have said fuck it lets try out all the new guys we can(outside linemen, can out ward at risk out of curiosity).

I know you used that he hasn't earned argument before, but most of the people who were against playing him were not. It was straight he is terrible no need to even try.

Nothing about this game was definitive, but the fun everyone is having with it is absolutely expected and warented after the joke of a season we have had and the stupidity of this thread.

This is what I saw.  Seattle put one of their best defenders on him which really surpised me.

Idk if they put him on him. Could've just been zone and XR entered into the area he was responsible for, but he covered him well regardless and Restrepo still had a shot at it.
