Kcroy420
Moon is in the hall of fame. Tannehill might hope to visit there someday with his family. End of discussion. Number9, and 2ToneTerror

Kcroy420
Different game back then. You know this as well as I do. If Moon played in this era he would have had a field day.

Stan
Moon and Marino would throw for over 6k in this era. Both had unreal ball placement. Kcroy420

Even if people want to put him in the HOF for the longevity, no fucking way he deserved to be a 1st ballot HOFer. The numbers he put up in Houston speak for themselves. His best year is not at the level of McNair's MVP season or prime era run nor Tannehill's 2019-2021. OILERMAN

Nashville is a fine town but it's not a great NFL city. It just isn't given the transplant fan base, tourism crowd, and way too many of the local football fans are CFB fans and then NFL.....Atypical of most cities that have NFL teams where the NFL is king. Winning in 2019-2021 was decidedly different for Nashville than winning in 1999-2003 was. Nashville was a very different town back in 99-03, not nearly the transplant central it is today. Those early Adelphia crowds were home-grown, very loyal, and excited fo finally have a pro team. Nashville today? I'd be surprised if 30-40% of Nashville/Davidson county residents were still actually from Nashville/Davidson county. 22 hours ago, BudsOilers said: As for Houston, one of the big conceptions that comes up on here is how that all went down. The team was supported big time until they announced they were moving and the whole move was about the new stadium/revenue from that. It had nothing to do with fan support. The same exact thing would have happened in Nashville had the State/City not agreed to build the new stadium...... I wonder if Nashville will ever again be as gung-ho in its support as it was in the early days, but I still say that putting a consistent winner on the field will do a lot for bringing back stronger support. Also, Cam is part of the digital generation/cultutre. He was live streaming a Fortnite session. If/when he starts bringing excitement back to the field on Sundays he could establish a new, younger foundation of fans who might turn out to be more loyal than the "newer fans" of the last 10-years. Think about it this way, the people who were 20-25 when we drafted Mariota are now 30-35. If Mariota had panned out those people would be a lot more present today. heyitsmeallen
I’m assuming we will get new unis with the opening of the new stadium. But we will also be getting special “rivalry” unis in 2026. The NFL is doing something similar to the MLB’s “City Connect” uniforms. They are doing 2 divisions a year creating special unis for rivalry games, and our year is 2026.
scine09
Not sure what this is about but it does seem that they'll indeed have new uniforms. Just not sure when: https://www.cbssports.com/nfl/news/titans-have-new-uniforms-coming-per-franchise-legend-warren-moon-a-whole-new-set-fit-with-the-times/ This is the link to the article which is extremely misleading: Edited May 2, 2025 by scine09
