That did not repeat itself in 2024. The team was terrible in every area. 30th in points allowed, 25th in Defensive EPA, horrific ST #s, bad OL, and one of the most penalized. You can hate Levis all you want, but the results this season were the reflection of a really bad team, not a really bad QB. Compared to the previous season under Vrabel-when they won twice as many games and were at least reasonably competitive in the losses - it's easy to conclude that coaching was a major contributor to this. Improving the most important position obviously helps, but without improvement to the poor offensive and defensive playcalling/gameplanning and STs, it will be another ugly year. What? That's hyperbole at it's finest. He was a top name only for the team that wanted him for the last 2-3 years, and Callahan struggling to get meatheads roster to perform is more a testament to meathead, than Callahan.
