Hats off to oldschool for taking the L.    If I’m wrong about something I will as well

Vrabel inherited a good team that was bolstered by Derrick Henry, Kevin Byard, and later Ryan Tannehill, all playing in their primes, and then AJ Brown, Corey Davis, and Jonnu Smith - all behind a ver

well fuck. The L is mine. I'm man enough to admit it.

I think JRob, Vrabel and Carthon were all fired for reasons other than specific football decisions or the product on the field. I'm not saying they all didn't deserve to be fired based on job performance alone, but in all 3 cases it seems to me there were non-football related issues that ultimately led to their demise. I think in the case of JRob and Vrabel they did or said something that pissed Amy off...maybe in Vrabel's case on purpose. In Ran's case I think it was just obvious to everyone (including himself) that he was in way over his head.

The bottom line is the Titans are better off with them gone. In the end they may be better off with Callahan and/or Brinker gone too, we'll have to wait and see.

Absolutely... which is why I find a lot of the debate here and other groups... entertaining.

Oh Come On Jim Carrey GIF

You can't say "he's JAG" - that sounds like something a teenage girl would say.

"That's so JAG."

"Oh my gaw, JAG me with a spoon."

Yeah ... I always struggle with it and often elect to write it out. I don't have a great solution but it still bothers me when people essentially say "just a just a guy."

Not exactly a good look for the organization.

Agree but relationship building/communication is critical in leadership roles.  I also think the Nihill factor always gets overlooked.

Robinson is kind of the unknown.  I've always suspected the alcohol on the plane incident didn't help him and the pretty obvious window was closing in large part to his decisions as well....and it was pretty apparent he wanted to run it autonomously.  No real proof but I think Nihill couldn't stand him (process/analytics guy vs an old school grinder) and likely helped put the daggers in.  Brinker is far more compatible with Nihill background/skill set wise in comparison.

Vrabel is the one where I think he dumped her as much as she dumped him.  Pretty clear his leaks to media and overflowing praise for how NE was compared to other places was a dig....

Carthon's the easiest one to explain.  Simply a bad hire who wasn't going to succeed no matter how much you tried to help him.

It is actually. Its the way all orgs really work.  Rarely are ppl fired bc they didn't hit a particular KPI.   They are usually fired bc WHY they didn't hit it.. and those reasons are often complicated, relationship related and layered.
