Next tike you go into a job interview tell them you wont work with someone/something they just put a big investment into and think could be the changing point in their buissness without ever having worked with said person/tech before and let me know how it goes.

Lol, he was an offensive minded HC candidate with a hot name. He would have been fine if the Titans didn’t hire him.

I think it's obvious at this point the Titans are taking Ward. I'm on board and think his ceiling is pretty high. Callahan gave an interview to A to Z after the season that was super revealing about t

I'm totally fine with the Titans drafting Ward. Enough people think he can be good and he's shown enough NFL traits. It would not be like the Titans overdrafting Anthony Richardson or Trey Lance.

Yeah, how many games did they win before he took over as HC?

And LOL at trying to go back to a game in 2004 to pretend like he was bad in TN.

The talent was a lot better in 2016 than 2015.

Out of curiosity, after Mularkey did such a terrific job and got unjustly fired, which team hired him to be their next head coach?  Better yet, which team interviewed him to be their head coach?

The rest of the league knew what a stiff he was.

Didnt we play the easiest schedule in the league and also have like 9 games without the other teams starting QB during Mulkarkeys playoff team? I may be thinking of another year.

The nine wins included two against Jacoby Brissett, two against Blake Bortles, one against Tom Savage and one against Deshone Kizer.

More success than Vrabel?  No way.

More success than he personally had.

You know, like how Vrabel had a losing record when Tannehill wasn't his starter?

It was his third stint. That's a lazy and dumb angle but you do you.

Mularkey was the definition of a mediocre head coach. He could lead and get a team to execute a plan. He wasn't great at planning or hiring people that could plan well.

And yet, as soon as he took over, midseason, you saw immediate improvement on a scale Callahan never came close to with an entire offseason and a full season to work with the roster.

If Mularkey was medicore then people should be roasting Callahan using the same logic.

What a crock of shit. If he didn't believe in Levis, he wouldn't have taken the job or just sat around silently as they "collaborated" and put together a roster that was entirely built around him.

right just like when Gruden took the Skins job and said he would work with RG3 then moved on. There are countless stories like that; there are only 32 jobs. HC's say all the time they will work the current QB and then immediately start working on getting their own guy. Levis was a Carthon/Vrabel/AAS decision. QB is an org decision an Callahan was a 1st time HC. what the fuck was he supposed to say?

Wait, what?  When he took over midseason they went 2-7, including three blowouts in their final four games.
