AussieTitanFan08
Albert Breer with his views on the top of this upcoming draft • LSU OT Will Campbell might be a guard. • Texas OT Kelvin Banks struggled vs. UGa. • Is Colorado’s Travis Hunter a CB or WR? • Where does Georgia OLB Jalon Walker fit? • Is Penn State’s Abdul Carter big enough? And so on and so forth. https://x.com/AlbertBreer/status/1856476630514053347

There are a ton of screens, but if anything Levis needs to dink and dunk more. He waits forever for deep breaking routes to develop instead of reading a defense and getting the ball out quickly Im talking about the results on the field. His yards per throw & completion are staggeringly low. When combined with his sack rate we can’t keep going like this. But yes, you’re right. Almost every terrible QB throws a high amount of screens, RB dump offs (usually too late or early), and deep balls because these are no read plays & they struggle with intermediate stuff, especially deeper in breaking roots & stuff over the middle. Levis is a perfect study of a bad QB. OILERMAN, and IsntLifeFunny

Righteous
I'm not a fan of Travis Hunter, especially in the wide receiver position. He has not played against the best competion, and for some reason, Peter Warrick screams at me when watching him. DCTitan

From what we saw last year, i hoped he could use thay gun to drive 15 yard crossers and outs all game. Didnt happen. Well that’s what gave me some optimism last year. As exciting as his debut was, especially that last one to NWI when he rolled out & threw a perfect over the shoulder dime to the other side of the end zone, I was actually more encouraged the next week in Pittsburgh. The results weren’t great but he made a good 3-4 great throws in the intermediate range. The one down the seam to Kyle Phillips at the end of the game & that pretty deep crosser down by his own end zone to I want to say Trey Burks? I forget, may have been Hopkins. Either way I was encouraged. He made a few really good ones in Miami. But this year it’s been nil. My God he’s been brutal. Though in fairness on Sunday he threw a few real good ones , the first time this year. On a side note, we’ve seen the last few weeks why Ridley was such highly ranked prospect & we paid him so much. When he’s on he just destroys corners, just gets so much separation. He’s always been inconsistent & vanishes for stretches but Id love to see what he could do if he really put it together for a whole season & we had a vet QB throwing to him. … IsntLifeFunny, Thrill, Number9, and 2 others

There’s nothing wrong with that, some of the best ever were about that size, but let’s be honest if you take a WR #1 you want a Megatron type. But Warrick’s issue was he just wasn’t a special athlete, his combine was very disappointing. I assume Hunter is much more explosive. I haven’t really looked into his particulars much so I could be totally off here but I can see him becoming more of a 5-10 pick as the draft approaches. This isn’t baseball, he can’t be Shohei, and is he special enough on either side to be the 1st pick? I think I’d prefer McMillan as a WR. Unless maybe a team plans to use him as a corner & a slot WR, or in specific situations? But slots on both sides are basically full time players. And we definitely don’t need a corner. Mythos27
Hunter's ball skills are all world and his functional athleticism is great. The only hopes most corners have of stopping him are getting their hands on him early and even that is risky because his release package is pretty damn good too. He's a legit prospect and IMO is on the level of the top guys from last year's class. Thin receivers aren't a liability in the NFL anymore. Devonta Smith and Jordan Addison have killed that narrative.

No dummy you have to throw the ball at the end! There were 2 sacks where he had a wide open receiver. Whyle on a corner on the one he took out on the rollout, and the 3rd and 23 he had Chig on a checkdown for like 10 yards. He should be taking that I noticed that too. Even the announcers mentioned it. Once you step up it's either to throw or run. On one of the sacks the right side held its own and Latham had his guy completely boxed out to the point the DE disengaged. Levis stepped up and just sat there like a deer in the headlights. He's hopeless.

With that said, he's a special zone corner. I haven't really seen his profile in man coverage, but he's an absolute hawk in zone. Thrill

Supercollider
Hopefully we can find a decent dB, or at least a safety that can play outside linebacker. We generally can stop the run but tight ends and slot receivers kill us. Free agency is our best bet for Qb.
