I think at this point Jha' Quan Jackson has to make the team. He could potentially be the return guy on the active roster plus he adds the speed element the offense desperately needs.

At worst he could be Kalif Raymond type on offense to come in for the occasional explosive play

Bout time you came around and realized Philips isn’t making it.

I 100% think Philips is the best receiver of all the bubble guys and it's not close. But with Boyd on the roster it's hard for him to be active and keeping him as depth is a luxury the team can't afford. Plus Jackson offers potential Philips doesn't.

Philips is a perfect fit for the offense even, as a guy who can get open underneath. It’s just that he can’t seem to stay healthy and they added 2 other slots with Boyd in free agency and Jackson in the draft.

Ramon Foster on RKW just did a deep dive on the OL's showing the last 2 days against the Seahawks and Latham's performance sounded as ugly as some other of the local media had been suggesting.

Steve Palazzolo (PFF soon to be 33rd team) was also in studio on RKW and had been at both days of practice and he said it was inside moves that were really giving Latham trouble.

Petit-Frere also had some rough periods as well.

Sounds like Skoronski was the best of the starting OL over the course of both days, Foster also had some positive commentary on Rupcich.

Inside moves on latham? You dont say. Almost like everyone including the couple loosers on here that watched the tape saw that comming.

Edit: not taking a victory lap here, just a I told you so while still hopong that behemoth can get his shit down. Stop oversetting (because you have slowish feet).

There is this fantasy world where all starters win every rep with a perfect score. Its almost as is some of you never played sports or coached teams...

Being susceptible to the inside move is why posters didn’t want him drafted.

I remember someone who said his lateral agility and quickness can be coached up no problem by Bill lmfao, sure looks like it!

It would seem that having someone like Skoronski next to him would help alleviate some of those concerns once they get into games/game planning and improving communication. And then he can continue to work on those things as he gets more time to learn and improve under BillC.

Not really worried about this at this point.

He's a rookie going against pros for the first time. Like I said too many of you have unrealistic expectations. The guys going against Latham get paid too.... Again the overall consensus out of camp is that Latham has been as advertised and yet because he had a few suspect reps against the Seahawks, now all of sudden lateral movement is a terminal flaw? Again tell me you have never coached sports without telling me you have never coached sports.
