He was one of the most athletic LBs guys coming out of LSU, but he was super young and immature.  He wasn't even that good until he had an alpha next to him.  Sucks he is going to the Steelers, but he was never getting paid by Baltimore.

I personally don’t think he’s much of a loss given that the Ravens have an ability to pump out and develop ILB it seems.  Also LOL at the Steelers paying that much.

why do you think this is some sort of flex? Henry was a 2nd day signing for less than he expected. Tannehill may not sign but both players are washed.

Yeah they have a Patrick Queen clone, from an athletic standpoint, named Trenton Simpson out of Clemson.  He'll be taking Queen spot.  It does seem like an overpay to me, for a team with so many holes.

 

Henry in Baltimore is going to be interesting.  It seems like ya'll were ready to move on and it was probably time for both sides.  I think maybe our fanbase is a bit delusional with what his production could be.   Maybe we'll sign Earl Thomas for training camp for target practice.

what reality? Henry was the 12th RB signed. He wasn't in demand.... Tannehill clearly isn't in demand either.

Was 8-10 million per year really less than expected? Day 2? Sure... but no proof yet that it's less than he would have got if he signed with them on Day 1... or that the Ravens preferred someone else, right?

I'm sure you believe my motivation is to flex. Really, it's been to laugh. And I am. It's hilarious how wrong some of you have been. 

 

If anything it's an inverse flex against people that have talked so much shit and are obviously wrong. If you'd like to remain on that side feel free to do so.

The order in which a player signs matters all of a sudden? Since when did we establish that standard? He signed with the team that's been wanting him since last season. He was their target from before free agency even began and got a got a contract that's pretty in line with what good backs are getting despite being much older. It's not some huge flex but it definitely flies in the face of the idea that anyone outside this board thinks he completely sucks and no one wanted him, which most of y'all were happy to run with.
