It's not quite 2k rushing yards (again) but this may be Derrick Henry's best season, statistically.

Close on rushing yards, better success rate, better average, more production as a receiver. Helps to have an actually good QB ... and an extra game.

How can do all of this as a one-note two-down back?

Something smells fishy to me.

It’s also worth noting that Henry led the NFL in rushing attempts and had zero fumbles….something hasn’t happened in almost 40 years.   The last guy to do this was Gerald Riggs way back in 1985.

Look at all those defenders chasing down a rolling tomato can!

Derrick Henry sure seems to get a lot of those "anybody could do it, perfectly blocked plays" ever since he was declared a bum by message board illuminati.    Luckiest back in history, I gue

Is Henry the only player in NFL history to have two 1900yd+ regular seasons.

Barry Sanders came close with 2053 and 1883, that 2 season total of 3936 was the best  until today, DH topped it with his 2 best coming in at 3946, 2027 and 1919.

Honest Truth--Henry deserves all he has earned.  As a Titans fan I am thankful he gave us the greatest HOF performances of his career.  Proud to be a Titan.  Humble after ever win or lost.  He was the consummate professional here in TN.

He deserves every honor that's bestowed upon him and there have been and will be many.

God Bless da King!

I will say that once Henry got a QB he was unstoppable.  Credit JRob, MV and Ryan Tannehill.  Oh yeah, Arthur Smith.  It's one thing to have talent, but without a HC who can recognize it the value of that talent is wasted.  Add Miss Amy because she recognized JRob and Vrabel for her team.

Derrick Henry always hits the hole hard and a pathway has always opened for him.  Raised by a single grandmother with 14 other children it is a miracle she found enough food to feed a child with his size and energy.  I think this part of his background amazes me more than anything.  People who come from that type beginning rarely have the inner drive to accomplish what he has achieved this far in his life.  They do not believe they can achieve great things.

God Bless Him.

You are da man!  Without your persistent denial of da King's awesome ability, I think this thread would have long ago been agreed on by 100% of TR posters.  You have kept it alive so all of us TitanReporters have been Q'd in to observe da King's greatness.

Thank You!  Thank You!  Thank You!
