It’s also worth noting that Henry led the NFL in rushing attempts and had zero fumbles….something hasn’t happened in almost 40 years.   The last guy to do this was Gerald Riggs way back in 1985.

Look at all those defenders chasing down a rolling tomato can!

Derrick Henry sure seems to get a lot of those "anybody could do it, perfectly blocked plays" ever since he was declared a bum by message board illuminati.    Luckiest back in history, I gue

That right on the links I posted.  I just used the common language people use today.  They say he was a great RB.

I didn't click on your link. It is common knowledge.

In yesterday's game, Henry surpassed O.J. Simpson and Corey Dillon for career rushing yards;   Henry's  11,285 career rushing yards ranks #20 on the list of the NFL's all-time leading rushers .

With a 70+ yard game next week, Henry would surpass HOF RB John Riggins for #19 all time.     Henry and Riggins are currently tied for #7 all-time with 104 career rushing TDs....two TDs behind Jim Brown (106)  and 6 short of Walter Payton (110).

Another 1500+  yard / 15+ TD season next year would make Henry the NFL's #10 all-time rusher, surpassing Jim Brown (12,312 yds) and current #10 Tony Dorsett  (12,739 yds).     120 career TDs would tie Henry with Adrian Peterson for #4 all-time...and just three short of Marcus Allen (123) at #3 all time.

I'd say Emmitt Smith's records (18,355 yards+ 164 TDs) are probably safe.....but there's no longer any question about Henry ending up in Canton.   The only question is how many more years he has left before he finally decides to hang it up....and how many more of the NFL's all-time greatest runners he'll surpass along the way.

Tomato cans can go far in this league.

All Hail El Tractorcito Can!

Quick, somebody get on that meme.

Henry is having the better year and I'm not afraid to say it. The Ravens arent using him enough.

Saquon is only beating Henry on total carries, 30+ yard rushes, and total receptions. Saquans receiving stats are right about the average of DH's last two years.

Henry is winning on almost every single other regular and efficiency stat one could think up - and most by a decent margin.

Henry has a better:

PFF total score

PFF rush score

PFF REC score

PFF pass block score

Rush ave

RYOE%

50% more 8 man boxes

More Rush TD

Rush TD / carry

Rush success rate

Rush first downs

Rush first down rate

10+ yard rush %

20+ yard rush %

Signiificantly less tackles for loss (and TFL rate)

Less lost yardage (and lost yardage rate)

He's getting hit earlier in the backfield because of line an predictability... ybc

But hes getting more yards after contact.

Better catch %

Lower drop %

YPRR

Reception success rate

Yards per Reception

Same Rec TDs

Higher TDs per reception

Higher Yards / target

First downs per target

First downs per reception

QB rating when thrown to

More yards after contact / rec

More Broken tackles / rec

More receiving Broken tackles.

There's a ton more and many with agendas will argue the value of each... but Henry is having the better year on a per touch basis and with what he's had to deal with.

Lost me at pff and then i started to stare off into the distance at your giant list of shit I assume took along time to put together that lines up to less yard on a better team and the same ypc.

You're almost in OMan territory on this topic.  Just wait until you have something negative to share about Henry before opening the thread again.  ;)

PFF should have been at the end but just go to any stat site. All the efficiency stats you can think up, Henry is ahead.

Eagles have a 2 game better record than Ravens and have been by far the best OL throughout the season. Ravens are pretty good but not Eagles OL good.

I have not compared rush defenses faced.
