Derrick Henry is still an elite back.

It’s also worth noting that Henry led the NFL in rushing attempts and had zero fumbles….something hasn’t happened in almost 40 years.   The last guy to do this was Gerald Riggs way back in 1985.

Look at all those defenders chasing down a rolling tomato can!

Derrick Henry sure seems to get a lot of those "anybody could do it, perfectly blocked plays" ever since he was declared a bum by message board illuminati.    Luckiest back in history, I gue

Didnt like half the damn board play football?

IDK but way less fans than you think actually played at all, few played in high school, and way fewer played past high school.

I think many posters here played. I played 4 years, 3 on Varsity as DE/TE. I was a plus starter but not good enough to play at the next level. Honestly I've learned way more about football post playing days.

Same here. I learned more playing amateur football and watching the NFL post high school. My high school coaches were terrible. They timed is in the 40, liked my time, sent me with the DBs and called it a day.

Ahh the infamous PSG3 flex. Dumbass thought how Mariota played in a presason game meant he sucked and somehow holds onto it like he was first off the bandwagon. When you throw shit against the wall, you get lucky sometimes. Worst football takes on the board for nearly two decades.

That's ridiculous.  You have acted like some kind of psychotic deranged person attacking me.

This is an internet message board.  If you have to apologize for not seeing Mariota was godawful bad and next discrediting Henry for years you are an idiot.

Even now, you insult me for telling you PSG#3 a decent QB just can't play that bad.

I played and was really good on both sides of the line until I tore my rotator cuff and had surgery. The doctor told me I could keep playing but it was just going to keep happening and it did.

Anyways, to HS coaches sucking, they kept my guy who played college ball at Morehouse on the sidelines for one of the coach's sons. It was a shitshow. My guy ran a 4.4 in high school and was the hardest hitting guy I ever faced. They gave him one carry in varsity and he broke it for 65 yards and then just threw the ball in the air racing down the sidelines when I had crushed the 3T and paved the way. I still laugh at him about it. He recovered the fumble and never got another shot. They put him at CB lol.

Didn't peg you as an OL guy.

I played every position on both sides of the line. Even though I was undersized my best spots were 3 tech and center because of my footwork and hand usage. It always fascinated me how I could go against guys sometimes 50 pounds bigger than me on O and 25 on defense where leverage and footwork would either nullify or destroy them.

I hated having to quit but the doc was correct and my right shoulder I've been able to manually pop out since I was a kid couldn't hold that kind of force regardless of how much I worked out.

It's the Internet.  When I first started posting here you had time to make a cup of coffee before the board page loaded up.  People were civilized.  Team members and  their families used to post here.  The news media stole our stuff.  Coacho Oucho started here.

Gradually more and more people started trying to be bullies.  They would belittle players.  After they left, you got the idiots who just posted Yea Man!! after a post.  Then came the emoji's, nothing in the post.  Lastly-people like @oldschool would start just fucking with people.  I am smart.  You are dumb.  Zero connection to the topic, just some troll on the internet.

Lastly, it's come to this.  The Group.  If you aren't talking like we do, you don't know anything.  I'm one of the few who really don't g.a.s.  I will call your ass a momofuckfuck.  Long as I can type I'm going to say what I like.  People like @oldschool and @BudsOilers are challenging, but two monkeys don't stop no show.

You don't think coaches and former pro players wouldn't like to come to a message board.  They are not welcome.  If they talk like they talk with each other about football-clowns like those two above would run them off.

It is what it is.  Most of the old guys have quit posting or just left.  I gtd you not one of them would have made 100's of posts putting Henry down.  Or being "ditto heads" who will group attack when they say the same exact thing so-n-so said.

It's just a different time.  People would rather try to tear someone down instead of build them up.  Calling me dumb is an insult to yourself.

I knew a dude in high-school who could have played division 1 football and basketball but his shoulder couldn't stay in socket. He may ave even been pro worthy in b-ball. Always felt bad for him.

I played against John Henderson, and Troy Flemming. Those were fun....

I played against this guy in grade school, middle school, and HS.  Best player in football and baseball.  Played in the Astros system and was in TC with the Buccaneers if I recall.  Put the rest of us to shame.   https://broncosports.com/honors/hall-of-fame/chris-thomas/69

I still can't believe how they treated @code.  He was one of the last of the old guys still posting.  He did his thing.  He would post his views after each game.  Next thing you know he's getting chewed up by a bunch of newbs.  I said something about it when it was happening, but few if any took up for him.

Every man for himself.  Okay.  In my opinion, that's the lowest form of cowardice there is.  It's the Internet and people are afraid to say--You guys needed to tell them to STFU.
