Derrick Henry is still an elite back.

This is a new era of RB.

He's the most outstanding.

And he's da King!

I said it before this season; if Henry didn't make it then who would? He's been the most dominant back of the era. Though let me say that if it wasn't for injuries, Nick Chubb would be right up there with Henry. He's the only back I've seen this decade that I think is close to Henry talent-wise. He's incredible and it's a shame injuries will result in him being completely forgotten once he retires.

It’s also worth noting that Henry led the NFL in rushing attempts and had zero fumbles….something hasn’t happened in almost 40 years.   The last guy to do this was Gerald Riggs way back in 1985.

Look at all those defenders chasing down a rolling tomato can!

Derrick Henry sure seems to get a lot of those "anybody could do it, perfectly blocked plays" ever since he was declared a bum by message board illuminati.    Luckiest back in history, I gue

Injuries are a huge problem.  I think players are stronger and faster through modern medicine.  They get more muscle and speed, but the risk of injury goes up.  When a roided up LB gets a clean solid hit, somebody's body is going to tear, crack or break.

The Titans would absolutely have been better off not drafting Willis or Levis and continuing on with Tannehill and trying to acquire a real QB this past off season or beyond.

And do you honestly think Henry leading the league in rushing for the Ravens right now has any bearing whatsover to what the Titans should have done regarding Henry?

That's pretty fucking dumb.

The fans tweeting and calling in complaining the Titans didn't keep Henry are fucking idiots.

RT would’ve been on the IR after week 1 and wasting space.

Yes you keep your best player until you know they are done. DH is clearly not done.

Go back to screwing up peoples mail you dumbass.

I played against John Henderson, and Troy Flemming. Those were fun....

The biggest mismatch I have ever seen was when we played Martin Westview in 1993, and Chad Clifton was a 6'7'', 295lb OT/DE (later Vol and Green Bay Packer OT).  He was unblockable.

I remember him knocking John Robinson 2 yards back into the backfield on first contact. This was when JRob was a ~6'2'' 250lb All-State senior and built like a brick shithouse.

Henry only had 15 carries last week. 15 carries two weeks before that.

Even more they do not play him a ton. There are games he doesn't even have the majority of snaps at RB, Hill does.

If the Ravens do not have a good lead Henry is not going to get a lot of carries. They pass and run a lot of spread before they get a lead.

Today he had a 39 yard run, yes untouched wide open run. aside from that next to nothing. It's how his season as went but he has a lot of those runs
