I talked with my pops today about the immigration bill. He went into detail about why he disagreed with it. He made relevant points I appreciated, but at one point he goes because Trump said and then listed off a bunch of facts about the bill. I said 'wait Trump said that?'. He had to pause and said well something like that and I had to chuckle. 'I doubt he knows nearly as much as you about it'. He actually laughed. They know.

I’d say that Trump is cleared for the briefing but none of his staff. So just a 1-on-1 discussion.

I’d make it a very lengthy and incredibly detailed in-depth briefing with tons of numbers and statistical analysis.   He’ll lose interest and tune out after the first 30 seconds.

Just to recap for the Trumpers -- Navarro is going to jail for contempt of Congress in failing to testify, failing to cooperate meaningfully regarding his role in Trump's coup attempt and the lead up to Jan6.  In the sham investigations/smear jobs from the GOP the dems have cooperated, reluctantly, but to my knowledge, they complied with the laws.

The vid talked about Atwater, and the guy is infamous for his nihilist approach to political campaigning and politics in general.  Before he died from his aggressive cancer, he was remorseful of the corrosive effects of his tactics. But the genie was already out of the bottle. And now with a cash generating mediashpere, and real connectivity of social media, bad politics are a multibillion dollar business, and Trump is the perfect golden calf so many were waiting for -- along with his shitty politics.  It's always been a mob mentality with these guys, but Atwater -- along with Roger Ailes in media -- will always be considered one of the OG to this low integrity, win-and-grift repub approach.
