OzTitan
If this is about Lawrence, all the capital in the world won't matter for the Dolphins if a QB needy team is picking 1st in 2021. Mythos27

socaltitan
Hyde averaged 3.3 last season. He is a JAG. Texans definitely overpaid big, but bob has to be feeling the heat. Lucks early retirement probably had some influence. Watson got absolutely pummeled last year. Watt is still young but has had a lot of injuries the past few years. How many prime years does he have left
Btowner
1 hour ago, Carpy said: Don’t forget the Texans used their first round pick this year on someone they hoped would be their LT only to move him to guard.  So essentially Texans have used 3 first round picks to upgrade at LT.  If they had moved up in the draft by two picks (traded a 4th) they could have grabbed Andre Dillard and this would not have been necessary.  Total botch job by their front office. When the Texans hired O'Brien, he had an OL of Duane Brown (LT), Ben Jones (G) and Brandon Brooks (G). They didn't resign Jones or Brooks, wouldn't renegotiate Brown's contract and after a holdout traded him to Seattle.  After letting all of that talent walk for little compensation, they field the worst OL in the NFL and have been trying to fix their OL for almost three years. How are the Titans losing the division to these idiots?

titansfan
This was a trade the Texans had to make. They have a franchise QBÂ and the best WR in the game right now.. It only make sense to protect your young QB so he can give more opportunities to your best player. Also, the Texans go from a terrible offensive line to one of the better young offensive lines now that they can slide Tytus Howard to guard (although spending a 1st round pick on a guard is costly so he better be great). Last year he had a good year but the idea he is now one of the best is laughable. He has to string together multiple good seasons before he earns it. The most telling fact in all of this is the fact the Dolphins traded him. Teams dont trade stud LTs. Its arguably the 2nd most important position on the field behind QB. They traded him for two 1st rounders and a 2nd round pick... I think its safe to say they valued him pretty highly.

Tunsil is a great young player-- he played at a high level at age 24 and has shown improvement each and every year. Every indication is that he's becoming an All Pro level LT
Face
3 hours ago, oldschool said: Why? Tunsil busted as a LT and the Texans just gave a 1st and other picks for him. It's a dumb move. I was just gonna say, I love this. Why is everybody freaking out? Tunsil is an average at best LT & Stills is a poor man’s William Fuller. If the Dolphins are actually getting a 1st rounder plus a package of picks, it’s a hue steal for Miami.  The best part is they have to do this because they fell asleep & let Philly jump them for Andre Dillard, who looked great in the preseason & is already a polished pass blocker. They then in turn panicked  & picked Tytus Howard, whose a pure LT but not a very good one, over some guards & RT’s who were much better prospects. This is has been a nightmare offseason for Houston.  The only positive I’ll give them is they at least have a functional LT now. He’s a far cry from what he was supposed to be, Tunsil, but he’s not a turnstile.
OILERMAN
Everything I've heard is Tunsil improved a lot was actually a pretty good LT but I haven't paid much attention to him personally  The Texans have def mortgaged their future but they also improved their roster for 2019.  Texans have a QB and LT and a pass rush, that's a pretty good set of premier needs, draft picks are overrated. Mythos27
No1TitansFan
Understand what they're doing and they got good value, but the Dolphins need to be mailing out rebate checks to their season ticket holders.

No way he's worth 2 1st round picks and a second.  Oline is way overvalued now  better sign Conklin and maybe even Kelly.
