Massive upgrade over shit. Just saying...

Yep, it got to the stage the Texans simply had to do something at LT, they had to pull Watson after 1 drive in PSG3 because he was sacked twice and hit once in the first series, they genuinely feared that their OL as it currently was constructed was going to get Watson injured.

The report I read has him as one of the better LT in league and one that gets better ever year and is only 25:

After starting as a left guard in 2016, the former Ole Miss star moved to left tackle, where he's protected the blind side ever since. He's played and started 44 career games in total.

The Pro Football Writers Association named Tunsil to its All-Rookie Team in 2016, and Pro Football Focus named him the league's top rookie guard.

The arrow is trending up with Tunsil, as PFF also credited him with having his best overall, run-block and pass-block grades in 2018.

Career best numbers.  Doesn't sound hard to do when you've sucked your whole career.

True but that 79.5 pass grade is legit and quite honest, I bet he repeats. The guy as blue chip level talent and it seems like he's starting to come into his own as an NFL tackle.

You can certainly question the long term value of these series of trades by the Texans today, but short term they are a more dangerous football team heading into this season than they were entering today, adding Tunsil/Stills/Hyde gives them a lot deeper offensive side of the ball.
