For example, Texas has ~11 point Republican bias, and Biden is down a little over a point, so net +10 Biden can be seen after filtering out the partisan bias. Same with all states in the following chart. So if Biden maintains a double digit lead, he should take almost all the states in the following chart, andTexas would be a coin-flip. Now, if they were to be honest and say Trump’s cognitive abilities have declined rapidly, but Biden is no spring chicken either (or some other stupid cliche since we’ve already figured out they’re stupid) at least that would be worthy of discussion. Biden doesn’t need the ultra liberals like he doesn’t need the moderate conservatives. He can win without either. He is courting both, and if he does it properly it could lead to a unified party where the moderates lead yet have a continued stream of ideas from the Liberal side (needed and necessary) while having an attack dog group of moderate Republicans to constantly shame and berate the idiots. I was actually just thinking about this. Biden isn’t some genius, but the way he’s intersected his campaign with the far left, the DNC, the older vote, and the moderate GOP has been fairly brilliant. Of course pretty much none of this happens without Corona Virus, but he’s been adept recently at understanding the fact that pragmatism flows inside of a current.
