Here's the reason for the switch to light blue as a primary: Houston as a city trying to stake a claim to it. The Titans org sued the Houston University using the Oilers colors/pattern. The Texans are trying to implement "Houston Blue" in their alternate uniforms. One argument is that "...the Titans aren't using the color anyways." So the Titans are making it the primary color and will most likely use it as the primary color for the new uniforms coming out.
