Whether they make the playoffs or not at least they made an effort and didn’t trade half their team like some other teams who are close.

I assume you are talking about the Orioles and Blue Jays and Tigers who did a lot of dumping at the deadline and now are battling for wild card 3.

FWIW, I think the Orioles were right to sell high on Rustchman.  Doesn’t seem like the same player with the injuries.

Welp there it is lol

lol PK posted AI slop and had to delete it    it was a graphic of the 30 most important titans at training camp this year and feature notable titans such as Jared Verse, Jaylon Johnson and N

It would be pretty ideal if Latham is making strides to becoming the OT he was drafted to be and Carmona is a solid starting rookie.

The one I didn’t understand was the Tigers.  They haven’t won a World Series since 1984 and until recently had the top run differential in the American League.  Why would you punt on a season when you play in a weak league and have a legit shot at going to the World Series?  I’d be furious if I was a Tigers fan.

The team is run differently than when the old guy owned it (Mike Illich).  I just would have kept him too because the AL has a ton of parity as you said.

but they aren’t being run by a genius GM there .  I think they lead MLB in blown saves or close to it.

i shouldn’t give Toronto too much crap  since they bought and sold at the same time.

Still looks like one of the AL east teams is a favorite to go to the World Series .  Don’t trust any of the other teams in the other two divisions but the White Sox making it would be a great story

All the live practice reporting seems to suggest that overall the Titans had a pretty good day today, sounds like the heat got to a couple of the Seahawks players who had to leave practice early with heat stress related issues.

The way Simmons was talking Saleh put the heat on the secondary this week and there was some lively fiery defensive meetings.

Good. It's about time somebody shows some fire besides Big Jeff.

Speaking of baseball, how bad are the rockies right now? Saw an Onion article saying people were scappling tickets for 17 dollars lol.

There was just 1 scrap I saw. Spears was take. To the ground and then defended appropriately.

Overall I really think it was pretty even. JSN made a couple plays but they weren't easy for him. All in all hard to see what was happening on the Defensive side as it was far away.  But they ran the ones for a clocked period and we looked to be stopping them decently.

I came away thinking the offense looked better but still has a long way to go with consistency. Cam was better but still not where you want him yet. I do think he's escaping the pocket earlier this year and maybe that's something Daboll is encouraging because his pocket issues last year were drifting, not escaping. Maybe he just wants to practice the scramble drill more. He mentioned they are working on it in his after practice interview.
