Titans Rookie Mini-Camp

Recommended Posts

I dont know why people bash Wandale either. Alot of the talking head nerds dont like him but he had a bunch of long balls last year.

Is it just because he's small? The bad QBs he played with didn't help him any.

Someone said Montgomery runs like Jack Sparrow and I can't unsee it now

So it begins...

Saleh had to deal with NY media. PK isn't going to bother him. No prep needed.

Prior to last year he had never done much regarding ADoT.

It’s that it’s a pointless exercise. Ones a viable slot receiver paid 20MM a year, the other is going to be a personal trainer.

It’s like saying a dead guy could be a better fuck because his cocks bigger while missing the whole point that doesn’t matter because he’s dead and can’t fuck anybody. Restrepo is the dead guy.

How long has he been dead? That thing may yet have some postmortem potential.

Yes, Oliver made the 53 and was made active. Yes, XR was buried on the practice squad depth chart and was passsd over by those other slot guys.

Restrepo is behind Kinsey on the team right now. Restrepo didn't pass him by or he wouldn't have been out there practicing with the scrubs having to prove himself on to the 90 man roster.

Restrepo very clearly passed Kinsey during the season. He took all his snaps. Then he got hurt. Granted it’s a different coaching staff, but anyone who watched the games could see that Kinsey lost his snaps on offense to Restrepo.

As for rookie camp, all the 1st year futures contracts guys were invited to rookie camp. It wasn’t specific to Restrepo. He was there because he’s still basically a unproven rookie. And I’m sure he was glad he got to be out there on the field since he’s fighting for a job so he’s not upset about it in the slightest.

Look at your sample size... he could be worse than any one on the team for their entire careers after just 1 bad half.

He also had a bad catch rate in college where he had almost zero production for his entire career.

He's battling for the team, not Ayos spot.

I'm not trying to be an ass, but you sound retarded. Ayo had problems in college AND the NFL with drops. Oliver contributes on ST and hasn't to my knowledge had a drop issue professionally. Sure that might happen with more reps, but it ain't happened yet.

Ayo is a 4th rounder they're not attached to

Oliver will be replaced by Jaren Kanek who will contribute on ST, and play TE, FB, HB, big slot and playmaker.  Much more versatility.  Let the Oliver dream go.

They aren’t competing for the same roster spot

Remember when PK reported one of the coaches showed him practice film of ReSloMo and pointed out how bad he sucked?

Did he show him the film or did he describe it to him?

Also, where is that coach now?

haha

I don't care if you are trying to be an ass or not or you think my argument is retarded.  I see your argument and am amazed anyone that thinks that way can get by without being in danger of drowning in their own spit.

Lets compare notes..

Guy 1 - Had 125 yards in 3 years of real college at UK. Ran away to a small Div2 school that nonathletic small high school players can play for. While there this 4th year player wasnt even good enough to start until the second half of his sr year.  He then plays 2 more years of college ball where he improves but fails to break 1k yards... Mostly because of his shitty catch rate and drop rate that are worse than the guy hes being compared to. Then he runs a slow ass 40 time but gets pulled in as an UDFA. Now in year 3 at the age of 26 with at least 2 people directly in front of him for the exact same WR spot, he has 7 catches on his career and he has been an injured non-stop since basically high school.

Guy 2 - Ran a 10.7 100m in high school. Goes to big boy school Stanford and medical redshirts as a freshman. Puts up 1000+ the first season he's on the field. Then has a solid second season where he puts up nearly 300 yards on the #2 draft pick IN ONE HALF. He's bigger faster stronger and more productive than the other guy. He gets drafted in the 4th round. Starts as a rookie and catches 41 balls and is 22. He has 1 super high draft pick in front of him that should but may not start day 1. He has more yards and catches in 3 years of play since high school than the other guy has in 9.

Now... you  go.

What? Restrepo played in two games after the season was clearly lost and got hurt doing it.  The coaches straight up told us it was time to give the younger guys more opportunities. Kinsey is a mostly STs guy, but they turned to him when they needed a WR. There was no real depth chart battle between them, and there was no obvious giving Restrepo Kinsey's snaps lol.

It's true that they invited the futures guys... because those guys need to prove their way on to the 90-man roster. If Restrepo had actually played well enough to offer him a real contract, they would have done so.
