Said multiple times that I hope Restrepo kills it and becomes a great WR because that's great for the Titans, but reality says it's a long shot. It always was. All of the posturing and excuses are just annoying - 32 teams passed on drafting the guy. Two coaching staffs and the front office have told you with their actions that he's a fringe PS-level player. We knew more than the rest of the league due to his connection with Cam. It was the absolute ideal situation for an undrafted WR to pan out. Step 4: People offer reasons (or just state) that it's idiotic and demand more answers. Step 5: Another explanation given. Step 6+: Repeat steps 4 and 5 over and over. Step X: Original opinion giver, backed into a corner and as a single person answering many questions from many people posts "too much" and maybe hardens the opinion even more extremely or just starts lobbing missiles. Step X + 1: People insist the original opinion giver is flooding the zone, militant, the real aggressor, etc and whatever. At this point, some of those attacks may even be fair depending on how Step X went. Takes many forms, manifests in varying degrees and results in varying amounts of outrage depending on how it all goes ... but it's a TR tale as old as time. Jamalisms Posted May 13 Report Share Posted May 13 StepSlow managed to actually stand out the moment he hit playing time last year but that has a lot to do with the alternatives we had and it's a super small sample size. Odds are good he's completely irrelevant during games because he's both not great and because we'll be featuring something other than a cast of 4th round rookies this year ... but it's kinda funny how that spark is ignored by people who were dead set against his chances last year.
