He saw the strongly worded statement from the athletic, found it noteworthy that they would issue such a strong statement that could be so easily disproven and decided to wait and see if anyone from that camp could provide any evidence that the pictures weren't what they looked like. He figured that if Rusinni/the athletic were full of it, it wouldn't take much long for that to be evident. Most interpreted that as him caping for Rusinni/ being a wet blanket and came at him, not the other way around IIRC. Predictably, he started clapping back and the thread devolved from there. Only thing I strongly disagreed with him on was his interpretation of the pictures, I thought those made things as clear as they could be with forensic evidence. Other than that, his take was essentially "let's wait and see". Now, I didn't necessarily see the need to wait as long as he but it's whatever.
