Hopefully it’s Hendo.

Just checked spotrac and they have us with 62million without the JFM and a couple of the cheap signings. So that 40mil is probably pretty close.

So he is certainly a possibility as long as its a 3+ year deal.

Lots of ability to make space too. It’s well worth it for a quick turnaround.

ESPN not high on this signing.

Titans sign CB Alontae Taylor

Terms: Three years, $60 million

Grade: C-

The Titans are well into their expected spending spree, as they try to use their plethora of cap space to build out a more functional roster as the team enters its second year of the Cam Ward era.

Coach Robert Saleh clearly wanted improved cornerback play, prompting the signing of bothTaylor and Cor'Dale Flott. We'll focus on the former here.

Taylor is coming off a nice season in New Orleans in which he allowed 1.0 yards per coverage snap and allowed minus-1 EPA playing primarily as a nickel, per NFL Next Gen Stats. But what scares me is how big of a departure those numbers are from what he posted the two prior seasons, in each of which he allowed 1.6 yards per coverage snap and double-digit positive EPA when targeted.

It remains to be seen where the Titans will play Taylor. He has experience both outside and in the slot, though his best play came last season was when he was primarily inside.

At $20 million per year, this contract is not only more than I expected but also $2 million per year more than Jaylen Watson received from the Rams. It is too expensive for a player who does not have a long track record of reliability.

I'm worried about Cam.  The Titans have a way of wasting QB talent.  You get drafted because you are a prolific passer.  Titans say, "feed FW".  Years later, they see you throwing for elite numbers.  Cam got a Top 10 Bad HC of the 2000's.

We are going into year two.  Have they developed Cam?  Or did he just persevere?  How much better will Cam be based on 2025?

I give Borgo a slight break because he inherited bc, but this year should show a solid approach to Cam's development.  Cam's numbers should be Top 10 this year.  No excuses such as bad OL, drops or we played the top pass defenses in the NFL.

I love the Titans.  I like Borgonzi.  I want results.

Man, I’d say he is in our top 5 worst FA signings. Lol.

(27 games), he totaled 551 rushing yards, 511 receiving yards, 2 touchdowns, and served as a primary punt returner. He signed a 3-year, $12M.... Honestly that's a lot better than many free agency signings we have had lol. Dex did alot better and had much much more production than alot of free agents we have signed.

Top 5 no particular order...Adam Humpheries, Cam Wake, Tyler Lockett (New entry), David Givens, Vic Beasley.

Dang I actually wanted to keep going 🤣

Did you read the article? They let anyone "write" these days.

Which one? The one I posted where it says Greg Auman now thinks Hendrickson signs w/ the Titans or the original top 100 where he says he thinks he'll go to the Bears?

4. Trey Hendrickson, edge rusher, Bengals

Hendrickson, 31, doesn't have the luster he had a year ago. Instead of coming off back-to-back 17.5-sack seasons and four straight Pro Bowls, he's now coming off core muscle surgery in December that limited him to four sacks in seven games in 2025. He got a one-year, $29 million deal from the Bengals last year, but isn't likely to draw as much this time around. ESPN has him as the league's No. 1 overall free agent, but will he get more than one year guaranteed, and at much more than $20 million a year? He needs 19 sacks to reach 100 for his career and could easily get that in two more healthy seasons.

Prediction: Signs with Titans (previous prediction: signs with Bears)

So, what move does he see Hendrickson making? He see him going to a team that had a 3-14 record last season: the Tennessee Titans. His previous prediction was the Bears, but he changed it.

looks like cowboys

Trey Hendrickson to Cowboys: Three-Year, $97.5M Deal Taking Shape

According to NFL insider Rickey Scoops, the Cowboys are closing in on a deal with former Cincinnati Bengals edge rusher Trey Hendrickson. Scoops posted: "Sounds like Trey Hendrickson will be joining the Cowboys."

Bleacher Report's Gary Davenport projects a three-year, $97.5 million contract — a major move for a Cowboys team that missed out on Maxx Crosby when he was traded to the Baltimore Ravens.

Dallas has already started creating cap room to pursue Hendrickson. The Cowboys restructured offensive tackle Terence Steele's contract on Monday, creating approximately $13 million in additional salary cap space. The new deal includes $22 million in fully guaranteed money.

Why the Cowboys Pivoted to Trey Hendrickson After Losing Maxx Crosby

The road to Hendrickson began with Dallas's failed pursuit of Maxx Crosby. The Cowboys offered the No. 12 overall pick, a future second-round pick, and a veteran player — a package the Raiders rejected in favor of Baltimore's two first-rounders. ESPN's Trey Wingo had signaled this pivot was coming, saying to "expect Dallas to now shift their focus to Trey Hendrickson" once the Crosby price ballooned beyond what they were willing to pay.

But there's a chance this is old news from earlier when they were supposedly close to agreeing repackaged as the latest. we'll see but doesn't look good.
