Ditto with RG Chig was 15th in yards and 16th in catches. Im not on team sign him, but people seem to have strange idea of what TE production should be. I was thinking they could pull like a dozen random dudes in attendance at the combine and have them do the testing each year. Maybe the best overall gets a pair of superbowl tickets or something. And you get a baseline for how ridiculous these guys are. Then you step back and get realize there are some guys in their mid to late 30s who can still kick those kids asses who makes most people look like a different species. I think there are better and more complete fits (maybe) like Njoku, but no guarantee we get them. Maybe we can get Chig back a bit deeper and we can use him as a hybrid slot with Helm being the TE1. The reality is we are already going into next season without many reliable pass catchers who have experience working with Cam. Dangermode Posted February 28 Report Share Posted February 28 I mean more and more teams are moving to this big 3 TE offense that could be run or pass. Having multiple TE pass catchers available out of those formations would be helpful. Also Chig is a perfect locker room guy. Hard working and positive year after year.
