Titans Offensive Coordinator Search

I feel like there has to be some thought for Klay Kubiak as well. Obvious connection to Saleh, and it would be a promotion to come here as he would call plays. It's obviously hard to untangle what contributions he made, given it's Kyle's offense, but you can do worse than a guy with experience as an OC under Shanahan.

Similarly, Nathan Scheelhaase has been a very hot name even for HC jobs. No connection to Saleh afaik, but I would wonder if he'd also have a desire to be a playcaller.

Matt Nagy was blamed a lot by Chiefs' fans and they feel somewhat vindicated that he is no longer the OC in KC.

Just for the record, this was more about Nagy wanting to Decouple from Reid than it was that he was somehow run off from the Chiefs.

He was certainly up for HC opportunities, but the other thing here is that going to a different team and coordinating an offense will get him more credit that continuing to work with Reid, who gets the lion's share of credit for the Chiefs offense.

I would rather have Mike McDaniel, assuming that he and Saleh can mesh well.  It hink McDaniel is an innovator.  But, I also think that Mike McDaniel may be difficult to work with.

I think Nagy will be a very solid hire for OC this year.  Of course, he may want to wait to make sure no one is going to offer him a HC opportunity.

It seems like all these people saying someone other than McDaniel have some type of agenda. That could just be my paranoia thinking that of them, but it's such a transparently obvious thing that McDaniel is the best offensive mind still available and he apparently has a damn near Mariota/Grasu-level relationship with Saleh, so what gives?

So Slowik was in Houston for Strouds first year when he looked fantastic. But he was also there in his sophomore year when he wasn’t good? Fluke?

from what I remember they tried to open up the offense for Stroud in year 2 and it failed, Slowik took the fall.

Wasn’t their OL an issue as well? Stroud looking like utter garbage helps his cause
