Chump change for QB. After 2027 he is a net gain cap wise to cut. So a 2 year deal, with 1 year likely being behind a rookie QB at some point. Even if he lasts until the 3rd year his cap is still not far from a backup QB number, especially for a team that will be swimming in cap space and probably more concerned about getting above the cap floor if anything. The Falcons paid a lot more for Cousins when they drafted Penix, Willis' contract has zero impact on their QB plans next draft and beyond.
