Titans Get The #4 Pick In The Draft

One of the first things that I pointed out was how strong that he was.  The remarks about his athleticism at a bit over the top - he wasn't even the most athletic LB on his own team.  There are several edge players who have better size and comparable athleticism, as well as a more developed skillset.

As I said, if he was an unpolished physical marvel without the production like Travon Walker, I could understand betting on the upside.  But he's 240 lbs.  So wtf are we talking about here?

Well, when you put it like that ya know it just makes me slap my head and ask how I could be so wrong about an All-American LB with insane strength and 4.4 speed. Yep, definitely don't see at all why in a talent depleted draft he would be on our board at all. His tape is obviously terrible. My bad.

Love immediately makes you a more explosive team. He's going to add 10-20 TDs a year through the run and pass game. He's going to upgrade your pass protection. He's going to force teams to account for

The Jaguars gave up what again for Travis Hunter? This notion we should take less capital is kind of mind boggling. If a team wants to move then they need to pay the full price.

Arch Manning must have Chris Johnson speed to be able to beat him to the edge like this.

Yawn. Tracking a guy is different than racing him, but anyways I'm not sure your point. He took a bad angle. It happens.

I've already said to you I would be more comfortable if we weren't at 4, but that doesn't take away from the fact Reese is a top 15 player in any draft. He's a better prospect than Styles and Tate. That's undeniable in my mind. His floor is a chess piece with freak size and strength. His upside is a top pass rusher.

But these issues are why I'm okay with a trade back of the value is right. I wouldn't be really interested in a pick swap, but I would understand it. If they don't trust these players and see more value by trading back then do it.

For my bet I think we take Love if he's there. If he's not I think we will try to trade down. That's my position. I don't think we would take Styles and I think we could get a good trade for Reese. Who knows, but you're heavily discounting him as a prospect. He's a damn good football player.

Daniel Jeremiah mentioned on the Russillo podcast with McShay that his final mock draft that is released Wednesday Night 8pm ET exactly 24hrs before the draft kicks off is actually written today to give enough time for the graphics people to work their magic.

Jeremiah also said as he is about to sit down today to finish off that mock draft he has Jeremiah Love pencilled into #3 to the Cardinals.

Going to be interesting viewing to see in the couple of hours between taping that podcast with Russillo and McShay to handing that mock draft into his editors whether that Cardinals pick changes, but at the time of the podcast recording he didn't have the Cardinals trading down.

After a wild day of smoke, complete nonsense and wild speculation flying around everywhere McShay was the only big name voice that flipped back to the Jets taking Reese.

Everyone else Breer, Jeremiah, Jones, Yates, Brooks, Schefter all still believe Bailey is going #2.

FWIW most of the local Jets beat writers all think it will be Reese.

They hinted at owner interference on that pick.

Would argue that some people are finally catching up to the fact Styles was always in the group of players who were possibilities at pick #4.

Freak athlete that ticks the long and fast mantra both Borgonzi and Saleh have been preaching all offseason. Also reportedly the highest character guy in the entire draft which is a tick to the CULTURE CULTURE CULTURE requirement Borgonzi has been hammering ever since he got to Nashville.
