Titans Get The #4 Pick In The Draft

Recommended Posts

Would of loved to be in Cowboys HQ when Jerry Jones found out the Giants got a 2nd top 10 pick and would be the team getting the most media attention heading into the draft.

His head might explode if the Giants walked away with both Sonny Styles and Caleb Downs.

Going to be tough for all the football executives in that building to keep Jerry's ego in check and stop him doing something reckless to win the media focus back.

Love immediately makes you a more explosive team. He's going to add 10-20 TDs a year through the run and pass game. He's going to upgrade your pass protection. He's going to force teams to account for

The Jaguars gave up what again for Travis Hunter? This notion we should take less capital is kind of mind boggling. If a team wants to move then they need to pay the full price.

Simpson in his rookie year is not saving Ossenfort hell he might not even play in year 1.

Simpson is a move for the future not 2026.

You just said that Ossenfort is drafting a RT to protect his QBOTF.  The problem is, at the rate things are going, he's never going to get to draft that QB unless he does it this year.

Simpson doesn't need to get them to the playoffs, he just has to play well (for a rookie) and give ownership and fans some hope and confidence in order to buy him some time.  Just like the Giants and Dart last year.

Maybe he tanks gracefully and strengthens the roster for the next GM.  But my money is on him trying to actually save his job.  Simpson being the guy who does that is a long shot.  But we know the likelihood of him being fired is 100% if he does nothing at the position.

Simpson isn't coming in straight away and starting for the Cardinals he doesn't have the CFB starting experience to walk into the NFL and start right away.

Any team selecting Simpson whether that is the Cardinals or someone else would be selecting Simpson with an eye to being the QBOTF not the QB starting the 2026 season.

It does seem the Cardinals is the most discussed landing spot for Simpson but like I said earlier any trade back from pick #3 is independent of drafting Simpson not the reason required for doing it.

Ossenfort can position himself to get Simpson without trading back from #3. That potential trade is about setting up themselves to take a RT in a more appropriate draft location.

They likely want to get in front of the Titans for Bailey or Reese.

Dammit. We need to post more about Bailey’s struggles in the run game….

Who's quote is this?

So that means Bailey and Reese are gone before 4. So it's between Love and Styles

The meaningless Brown and Card wins are going to force them to miss out on a edge rusher as well as possibly force them into a positional value bind

If the Bengals had taken care of business in week 18 against the Browns that would also of led the Titans to be picking at #3 and one of the EDGE guys falling into their laps.

I’ve learned this a long time ago, counting on the Bengals to come through with a win is pretty much a waste of time .  They will find a way to lose.
