Love immediately makes you a more explosive team. He's going to add 10-20 TDs a year through the run and pass game. He's going to upgrade your pass protection. He's going to force teams to account for

The Jaguars gave up what again for Travis Hunter? This notion we should take less capital is kind of mind boggling. If a team wants to move then they need to pay the full price.

Exactly, some people act like those positions have no impact on the game at all.

You have a lot more confidence that they’ll find any of the edge rushers, LT, center, right guard, or WR1 for 2027 in the third round and later than I do

It always comes back to how much value you get vs what you could have had. People made fun of the lions when they took a rb and lb in first round back to back. Then they had the best season they ever had and people switch their tune only for the shine to wear off.

They did draft two awesome players but has it resulted in the team taking that next step? That os the question you have to ask when drafting non premium positions.

They had first round picks across the offensive line and Ben Johnson too

If and that’s the key word, the Cowboys offered 12 and 20 for 4 you absolutely take that deal as long as there is not a blue chip player you deem necessary

yes unless they want a 2nd or 3rd back or somethign like that.  I dont imagine it would be that lopsided.. but it is jerry Jones so who knows?

I like Tate a lot but #4 seems high for him imo.

If they draft anyone at #4 who's not named Bailey or Reese it will "seem high". Barring a trade back they're going to have to spend it on someone...and at that point it should be the guy that will make the biggest impact on the team regardless of perceived value.

Lol, Love and Rodriguez would be a fantastic infusion of talent into this team. Two of the very best players in college football last year.

It doesn't actually have to be all that complicated.

I don't think he doesn't like the players, he just doesn't like the synergy of them being the back to back first 2 players we take when we have needs on the OL, edge, WR, etc.

I love Rodriguez, but I hope if we don't trade back from 4 that we trade back from 35. We need more players.

I still find it hard to believe that they’d pass o. Reese for Styles if both were available

Even the people who don't like Reese acknowledge his potential. If the plan is Love/Tate, Reese being available is going to really make them think about it.

Yup. We need multiple  players.  And G is a top two need at this point .

Questionable C situation and now no starting RG. They don’t want to get Ward killed with pressure up the middle .  I’d say that spot is the odds on fave for the second rounder, wherever they pick.

ILB while they need one is behind Edge/RG/offensive playmaker for me.
