Titans Get The #4 Pick In The Draft

I gota go back and look into some more of these 50-100 range edge guys. Been sp set on top of the 2nd and looking at other positions later I haven't given them their due really.

Sutton was being projected as a top 20 pick back at the start of the 2025 season. Don't really know why, maybe he dropped off. I know Penn State had bigger issues as well... hence Franklin getting the ax. Maybe it all culminated and hit individual players differently. But Sutton did well for himself at the combine at least.

Another guy they could look at in the 3rd is UT's Joshua Josephs.

Love immediately makes you a more explosive team. He's going to add 10-20 TDs a year through the run and pass game. He's going to upgrade your pass protection. He's going to force teams to account for

The Jaguars gave up what again for Travis Hunter? This notion we should take less capital is kind of mind boggling. If a team wants to move then they need to pay the full price.

I know you just wanted to post that BUT that leads to a discussion what helps a qb more:  a good reliable WR or a RB.

I’d personally pick the trade down option if both pass rushers are gone but in terms of this draft a starting X you can plug into your lineup day one is a decent option.

It's partially shtick for laughs and to counterbalance the hate, but I seriously think he is going to be legit top 10 guy with the potential for some top 5 seasons tossed in.

There are lots of other options this year that could work out including trading back which would definitely help fill the plethora of holes we have, it just comes back to if they see what I do, can you pass up on that kinda weapon to pair with cam.

For all the talk of Tate being a number two I think he is a better prospect than Rome and he was an unquestionable top 10 pick in a much more top heavy draft.

Here is where we are in terms of edge rushers

Look at who went top 5 on that list. Garrett. Bosa. Hutchinson. Chase Young. Anderson. Every single one a three-down cornerstone. Zero specialists.

Now look at the top 10 on that list. Four of them — Crosby, Bonitto, Josh Sweat, Hines-Allen — were Day 2 picks or later. Round 4. Round 2. Round 4. Round 2.

You pay cornerstone money for cornerstones. You find pass rush value in round 2. That's not theory — that's the actual draft history of the best edge rushers in the league right now.

Likely Titans find their guy in round 2.

Hendrickson is just outside the top 10 and he was found in round 3.

Is Bailey (or Bain) a cornerstone piece? Idk. Is it likely the Titans think of them as cornerstone pieces? I guess we'll find out.

I love Rueben Bain. I’d love for the Titans to draft Rueben Bain. But I have no doubt the Titans will draft Bailey over him if he is available.

What would be interesting is if Bailey is gone, and there are no viable trade down options. Would they just draft Love, or take Bain? I’d hope for Love in that scenario

If he’s still there lol. That’s one of the  things that makes me nervous about taking Love at 4. I feel like then you have to take an EDGE at 35 but there’s no guarantees that one that you like will be there.

Josh Hines Allen was the 7th overall pick

And historically the second round hit rate on edge rushers is atrocious.

Rueben Bain

David Bailey

Arvell Reese

Keldric Faulk

Ahkeem Mesidor

Cashius Howell

TJ Parker

R Mason Thomas

Gabe Jacas

Malachi Lawrence

Zion Young

Derrick Moore

Dani Dennis-Sutton

Romello Height

I'm pretty sure at least 2-4 of those will be available when they start the 4th, nevermind when the Titans are up at 35. They could probably trade back to the late 40s/early 50s and pick up an extra 3rd and get a guy before then. And if someone they really love falls to 35, very possible, then they could just stick n pick.

And this all assumes they don't trade back from 4. This also assumes they like most of those guys where they may not.

He also went 7th overall and not top 5. He plays in a 3-4.

I have liked Dani Dennis-Sutton since last year. I was hoping he’d last until 66 or 101. He had such a great workout, I dunno about that anymore. 6’6” 256 lbs, 4.63 40, 6.90 3-cone, 10’ 11” broad, 39.5” vert, 10 1/4” hands. I might like him better than, say, Zion Young, actually.
