Should Borgonzi release Sneed/Ridley/Pollard/Woods this offseason the Titans will have at least double the effective 2026 cap space (nearly $120 million) than the Bengals who would have 8th highest (top quartile) amount of effective 2026 cap space. Yes their contract would transfer over and count on the Titans salary cap and yes they would just be cut. Its happened a few times, the last big one was brock oswhiler(sp?) After he got a fat contract then shit the bed, the browns took a 2nd round pick to eat his contract. He has a cap hit of 80mil next year, im going to need a 1st plus for that lol. Edit: 26mil of that is a restructuring so it would "only" be 54mil against our cap.
