Not overly surprising but Jim Wyatt had this in his mailbag today

Jim: Hi Lisa. The Sneed trade hasn't worked out, there's no way around it. I'll be surprised if we see him again this season, and it also wouldn't surprise me if we never see him in a Titans uniform again. That's just me, without any intel from anyone. Those decisions are made above my pay grade.

Def Wyatt floating the idea Sneed has played his last down as a Titans to the fans here.

There’s no reason to play him again. They are clearly looking to cut him in the offseason and they need him to stay healthy to do that otherwise they lose $7.5M of injury guaranteed money.

Wyatt has definitely become more brutally honest with the fans in his mailbags over the last 18 months and he does leave some hints and tips in there about what might be going on behind the scenes. Best example of this was Latham shifting to RT which Wyatt raised as a possibility in basically his first offseason mailbag at the end of last season.

I have faith that Borgo is sharp enough to not do any big deal signings this bad.  Signing guys whose team has decided aren't worth the money is risky.  On a team like KC surrounded by talent inspires all the players to do better, especially with Mahomes, Reid and chances to win championships.  He gets a big contract!  Health routine.  Study habits.  Stay the same.  Desire to go all out, play elite football just to lose isn't inspiring.   Can you imagine the difference in the KC vibe vs Titans?

I doubt its the culture. I really think its sneeds health. We all knew about the knee issues which out his career on an accelerated clock. On top of that he had the weird thigh bruise that he had to have bone marrow injections for. Then he had something during training camp(hip?). Now its a thigh issue again, no idea if its related.

It was allways a risky move that I barely got on board for. Idk if his heart really isn't in it but injuries definitely have added a layer to his ineptitude here. Nate washington seemed to heavily imply from the outside as a player that he could be just going through the motions.

This is a game I wish we can fucking win. I live in San Diego, always hated Spanos for leaving, and not only that can’t really stand Herbert he’s a bitch plus would be the team that fired McCoy however given that McCoy had coached like a pussy it’s not going to happen.
