That's not going to happen. It won't move that fast, but the Titans still may be the first team to make a hire.

I don't disagree here, but the NFL doesn't afford you the luxury of waiting. Teams move fast.

No.  He whiffed on Baker.  He let him walk to Tampa.  Big problem for me as a HC.

Why I do not want the SF guy either.  He is a DC who let a QB walk out in Darnold not a head coach.    

Robert Saleh and Sam Darnold did briefly overlap with the Jets organization and he passed on developing the kid, specifically during the 2021 offseason, though Darnold was traded before the regular season began and never played a game under coach Saleh.

Baker's two worst years in Cleveland were with Stefanski. Go look up his stats, he was good and then took a nosedive when Stefanski showed up. He did have the one good year but pretty mixed overall results. To me, that's a huge mark against him, not in his favor.

He had 27 pasing TDs as a rookie followed by 22 and 26. Stefanski shows up and it's 17 and 10 his two years there. Both of those guys proved they could play well in other spots. To me, that's a huge mark against him, not in his favor. 

 

This is an objective criticism that must be considered.
