Pretty confident Brinker and Borgonzi are just placating him. They’re not gonna let his opinion sway anything too much

It should sway them. Its not abnormal at all for leadership who is going to be under an exec to be part of the processs. They just dont have final decision.  Nothing wrong with this at all.

Ward has had some good moments, but hasn't played nearly well enough to be vocal about anything to the media - - that's the part he doesn't get. He has a complete pass with no expectations this year, while everyone else on the roster knows consequences are about to hit.  Next year, he has to produce just like any other QB or be benched like so many others are.
